Think Ross in Friends. Always giving unasked advice, or correcting other people's grammar.

Lol I am curious. This person has Aquarius Sun, Sag Moon, two seemingly chill placements, and they have no visible Virgo placements. Yet they are not afraid to make you feel embarrassed because of your slip ups. Maybe a Virgo rising? Or sun in the sixth?

They have mercury in Capricorn. Would this placement alone be enough to cause the pedantic behavior?

This would be my husband. He's always commenting on how others behave, how they dress, how they smell, what they say and how they say it. Oh yes, he'll clearly point out all of your, according to him, faults. He'll even discuss how bad the nailpolish you are wearing makes you look.

All of that got to me for quite a few years until the day I decide to let my freak-flag fly (and yes, I have one..). I went ALL Leo ASC on him and mixed that with a pinch of Uranus and while I was at it, tossed in a hefty serving of looney-toon Cancer as well. He now keeps his mouth shut..

Not sure what would make him like that though but I think it's partly deflection. He doesn't want people commenting ON HIM so he attacks first.

Haha I loved your goofy braveness in dealing with him.

What are his chart placements?

I know two other people like that, my parents, who after my endless rebellion against their comments finally gave up lol. Although I admit sometimes I found their criticism constructive. They are both virgo stelliums.

Is Moon in Sag between 20-29 Degrees? I think Saturn on Merc, Saturn in 3rd or Saturn ruling the 3rd can also do that

Interesting point. They do have Mercury sextile Saturn natal.

Depending on their hour of birth, their moon could be between 11 and 25 Sagittarius.

Oh gosh, I'm so curious to know his personal planets and their aspects now.

Oh ok.Coz my thinking is that if its in 20- 29 Sag. There could be a tendency to be "know it all Neville" about the person. This is the Leo decanate and Sun is the co-ruler of this decantae.

So there could be added arrogance and a tendency to be the type to solict advise (unprovoked) or showcase one's knowledge and skills Etc. As the Sun can be fashy about that.

But in their defence, they are not doing it to be "bigger than you" or show you up as "stupid". They are just very proud of what they know and can use every opportunity to flaunt it.

Leo is mostly self-centred. So(like Aries) most of the "flash" is actually for themselves. They compete with themselves and not others. So it's that they want to make you look bad.

I don't want to make anyone look bad. When something is obvious disinformation (as with covid), I'll speak up. Things like that. I really don't like to embarrass people, but I've had it done to me enough - people ******** on me for the hell of it - that I'm not as careful as I used to be.

I still can't get over a former friend telling me that all of the evidence filmed on January 6th, by the people who attempted a coup, was a media cover-up. They set it all up. It's ******* amazing to me, what people will say, all to maintain an image of thinking for themselves, when they're actually pushing alt-right lies.

All sorts of people have been happy to tell me that I'm wrong, because I disagreed with them. I don't think they all share an astrological placement. They just believed what they were told, by the people they wanted to believe.

“ not afraid to make you feel embarrassed” - definitely Saggy. They are notoriously for being outspoken and not giving much care for an outcome. Virgo would do it more quietly and in a teaching way.
Saggy with Saturn could pick on every word to mess with you and show advantage from my experience.

@Librapurr and Dumuzi

I think I agree with you guys. Because looking back at Virgo placement people that I know, they definitely correct you and give unasked advice, but in a soft and gentle way, more like giving suggestions rather than referring you to their own vast knowledge the way saggies do lol.

yeah, a lot of people gloss over the sag know it all tendency and not just that but needing to be "honest" which is basically just a way of being blunt and loud about their opinion

they tend to lack tact on top of everything else

quick to point out perceived flaws with zero thought about the effect and with saturn that can be much worse yeah

virgos get a lot of **** for this sort of thing but every time i've ever seen someone dreading dealing with a family member or a friend who was like that it's been a sag

a sag aunt of mine loves to tell everyone what she thinks about everything and correct people constantly. 🤷‍♀️ an ex was like this too

Dumuzi,

Hah it makes sense. My sister is a Sag sun/NN/mercury and my parents always tell me how she gives them a hard time criticizing everything they do lol.

But I had a Sag boyfriend once and he was super chill and he never corrected me or anything. Maybe it was his Taurus mars, or his crazy capricorn stellium (moon, mercury, venus, neptune, uranus, saturn) making him more humble. He was very philosophical though and after we parted ways I was worried he was gonna become homeless.

My sister and my three Sag cousins are all super achievers though, and they are very very blunt about everything. Especially I find it weird how they seem to like to argue with others about financial matters.

I don't think I personally knew a Sag moon before I started working with guy. Even though I can tell his intentions are not evil, he does NOT feel bad about correcting his coworkers in a meeting where everyone around the table can hear him lol. After how he embarrassed my other coworker by correcting her mistake in front of everyone at the meeting (he is not even her supervisor), I feel anxious about my own due presentation!
I was once having something new for lunch, he came over and asked what it was, I handed him an extra spoon and held out my plate for him to try. He put the spoon in his mouth, and then literally tossed it away right in front of me and said it was too sour for him. 😂🤣 Zero tact indeed

I also remember how my aunt always used to tell my Sag cousin to try and act more tactful, because she was getting into arguments with everyone, from work and family, and despite her actually being in the right, she was unknowingly being self-destructive.

Imo, Virgo moon. They believe they are right more often than not and aren't shy to point anything out they feel is incorrect.
They are easily convinced they can't be wrong..

Ah tell me about it. My ex best friend of 15 years was a Virgo moon. She and I got along very well for a long time, starting in our teenage years. But as we got older I started to distance myself from her and eventually told her we should stop being friends.

I noticed that she had a very picky mom who used to emotionally torture her. I am sure deep down they loved each other, but even in front of me they would fight over petty things. She was Aquarius sun (and rising) and her mom a Leo, maybe that was also why they had constant disagreement.

When her relationship with her mom became difficult so did her relationship with me. But in a strange way she started getting very close to my mom (who is a Virgo stellium).

She became too much for me and what made things worst was that she moved close to me and wanted to see each other everyday. When I agreed so as not to hurt her feelings, she would use that opportunity to point out every little detail that she thought I should change about myself. She would even randomly bring up things from my past that I was ashamed of but were actually no fault of my own. My Pisces moon put up with her for a good few years, until I was officially done with her behavior. Towards the end of our friendship, she told me all her other friends drive her crazy but she appreciates that she still has me.

I remember when she was 12-13, she would fly alone across the country to visit her mom who was in university in another city. She would even save her pocket money and buy gold for future! lol she was always in some ways more mature than me and our other peers.
