I have chiron in gemini in my 4th house squaring moon, mercury, venus, opposing jupiter, sextile saturn, and opposes Uranus.. what does this all mean to you? I've been told by many psychics, actually ever one i've been to that i'm supposed to do counseling work..so maybe these wounded parts of me need to heal before i start to actually counsel others? Also its in the 4th house.. meaning my tramua occured at home and in childhold, particularly with my mother? I have had childhoold tramua.. this makes me more compassionate with children and makes me more concerrned with treating children well.. am i suppose to work with children? What does this mea to you?IP: Logged |

This is a tough placement. I also have a similar one, Chiron conjunct the Moon. People with 4H Chiron or Chiron-Moon usually struggle interacting with the family, either the mom or the dad or both. Maybe one parent was absent or negligent or just, unkind and unlike what you needed to survive. I'm so sorry to hear you had family trauma. I myself also had a degree of family difficulties, but the important thing to remember is that, a lot of these difficulties are made even worse by Chiron being in the 4th. You can focus on the past too much, blame yourself for your family, and so on... it makes the family trauma 3 times as bad. The key issue for Chiron in the 4th is to understand that you deserve to be nurtured, and to fully experience the nurturing process. I think for you, it's learning to let go of all bad ties to the past, learn to FORGIVE those people who caused you trauma, allow those who do not reciprocate to your forgiveness to now burden the anger and sadness you once carried in their own lives. I feel that the way to answering Chiron's call is not to focus just on others to heal, but also on facing your own demons in order to heal. That's what Chiron is all about. Hiding in the dark from past problems will only keep you from healing. I think social work and helping others with similar family issues is a great way to heal your own Chironic wound, but it's important to also focus on yourself. The two key parts to Chironic healing would be: recognizing your own wounds first to begin healing, and helping others with similar wounds to recognize where the full healing potential lies. The square to Mercury I could see, adding to the problems with learning. This square could make one feel like what they say and write is wrong, isn't good enough, and it can make one very self-conscious about writing and speaking, and the learning process, especially lower learning like K-12. Although Chiron's wound can never be 100 percent healed, it's good you recognize your own limitations to rise up and face them to put them down. You are not your learning disabilities! Acknowledging them and trying to get around this will help you come closer to feeling healed. Helping children with learning disabilities or reading problems, for example, could make you feel wonderfully fulfilled, since you came with the gift-curse of already knowing how that feels, therefore you have the automatic empathy to comfort others with similar pains.
