Did anyone notice a relation between Dispositor and signs of parents and children, as well? For example: Dispositor of my Moon is Scorpio. my Mum`s Moon dispositer and Sun sign is also Scorpio. --------------------- my Moonsign is Aquarius my Dad`s Moon dispositor (and Sunsign) is Aquarius ------------
and there seem to be a lot more of these interconnections. Anyone noticed something similiar? EDIT: I used new rulerships (Uranus for Aqua, Neptune for Pisces, Pluto for Scorpio). Oh and just noticed how my Moon seems to be a combination of the Uranus/Pluto-theme that exists between my parents natally and synastrically big time. IP: Logged |

Wow, Lonake, that Libra-connection is just mindblowing! Also the fact that both your biological AND adoptive Dad have that. To me it seems, that even though the connection is not always there (my youngest brother doesn´t have it to my parents; though my middle brother has it equally strong like I have, and my youngest bro`s dispositors resonate strongly with my chart and vice versa), if it is there, it is just amazing!I also noticed that the two actors I`ve been thinking about (because I was impressed / impacted), both have a Moondispositor in Sagittarius, in my Sunsign. lol BTW did you get my email or did it get lost in the spam folder?

Doreen, yes, I noticed these connections, as well. But I never really before saw the connection between the dispositors of Sun/Moon with my parents and thought it might be present for others as well. The dispositors of my Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars also make a lot of sense to me. IP: Logged |

What is a dispositor???"The Ruler of the Sign on the cusp of a House disposes of, or is the dispositor of, a planet posited in that House." So.. My moon is in the 12th house... Does that mean my dispositor of my moon is Aries???? Someone please explain this. Thank you. IP: Logged |

L,Wow, what a list! " yea and I have Aries MC/Libra IC, Pisces Sun, Capricorn Moon, Leo ASC, strong Pluto, Libra dominant. So I guess I belong where I am " Yes, definitely. Also I can see how my chart resonates with yours. Libra/MC / Aries IC here. My Sun-dispositor is Pisces. Aquarius Moon (in your DESC-sign). Pluto conjunct MC in Libra squaring Venus in 1st. lol I guess we even would make a good example for the "astrological pattern"-thread. "---What about connections to grandparents? I saw those too. Sometimes we get along with them better than our parents." funnily I never checked them before.
Just saw that my grandmother (paternal) has a one degree conjunction of Sun, Mars and Pluto in Cancer! The traditional dispositor of my Moon is in Cancer. and my Moon-dispositor in Scorpio probably resonates with her Sun/pluto-conjunction. my paternal grandfather`s Sun was in Scorpio - thus "talking" to my Moon-dispositor in Scorpio as well. My maternal grandfather`s chart looks very similiar to my youngest brother`s one! Both with Sun in Pisces, Venus and Mars in Aries and Uranus conjunct a luminary (Sun for my grandfather, Moon for my brother). Anyway, so my Sun-disp. is Pisces, my grandfather`s Sun-sign. His Moon was in Virgo and Moon-disp. in Pisces, resonating with my Sun-disp. If you get under the surface there is so much water there, and especially the outer planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto seem to be strong. "I just saw your email today " Hope I havne`t overwhelmed you with the lenght of the mail. I think I got a little carried away.

Britterfly, the dispositor is the planet, which is the natural ruler of a sign. Let`s say for example you have a Stellium in Sagittarius (like I do). Jupiter is the natural ruler of Sagittarius and thus the dispositor of all planets in Sagittarius, and will modify the expression of these planets a bit. That is one of the reasons that people of the same sign are not all alike. Someone with Sun in Aries and its dispositor Mars in Scorpio will be quite different from a Sun in Aries with its dispositor Mars in Gemini. I always found it interesting that I have rather extrovert signplacements of my personal planets and did not really identify with them. The only introvert one would be Venus in Capricorn. But I always felt more watery than fiery. Amazingly the dispositors of ALL my personal planets are in water signs, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces, all water signs are covered. That surely makes sense in my case.

Don't wanna scare you but my Sun's dispositor is in Sagittarius. I saw the email that you sent early Monday when you were in a rush to get to work, that's the last one, is that the one you mean? And did you know the grandmother with the strong Pluto stellium?

Thank you Ceridwen. So, if my moon is in Scorpio, then my moon's dispostor is Pluto (or Mars). Pluto is also in Scorpio, so my moon's dispositor is in Scorpio? Am I getting this? IP: Logged |

"on't wanna scare you but my Sun's dispositor is in Sagittarius." Lol so we have a mutual Dispositor connection: Sag/ Pisces. My youngest brother has the same thing. Sun in Pisces with Disp. in Sagittarius." I saw the email that you sent early Monday when you were in a rush to get to work, that's the last one, is that the one you mean? " Yes, that`s the one. "And did you know the grandmother with the strong Pluto stellium?" Yes, she is the only one of my grandparents who is still alive. We celebrated her 90th birthday in july. I guess she passed her Pluto-theme th rough the family (especially with my grandfather`s Sun being in Scorpio) my Dad has Moon in 8th house in Taurus (his mum`s Moon-sign as well), and Venus opposie Pluto. I have Moon in 2nd house, as ruler of 8th house, widely trine Pluto and Disp in Scorpio, and Venus squares Pluto (btw my middle brother has Moon in Scorpio). My Mum`s Sun is in Scorpio and the dispositor of her Venus-Mars-conjunction is in Scorpio as well. Plus her ASC is in Cancer. (my grandmother`s Pluto-stellium is in Cancer) I`d say this is a pattern. Funny how my Mum has Sun in Scorpio and her mother in law has Sun conjunct Pluto. Funny, too, that my Dad has Sun in Aquarius, and his father in law had Sun conjunct Uranus! IP: Logged |

Hey does that mean that my potential mother in law will have Sun conjunct Jupiter? (because my Sun is in Sagittarius)Does that also mean that my potential husband would have Sun in Sagittarius or Sun in Libra/Taurus (my Dad`s Sun is conjunct Venus and Jupiter)? IP: Logged |

Yes. Maybe that is one more reason why planets in their own sign are so strong. As they disposit themselves. Like Mars in Aries of course also has the disp. in Aries. IP: Logged |

I haven't taken the time to do the dispositor math - it really isn't necessary anyway because it's obvious that my parents passed down their astrological DNA to us.My mom was an Aquarius sun, gemini moon, Aries rising, with Moon-Pluto sextile, Sun-Neptune trine, Mars-Pluto square, with Uranus almost on an angle, pretty close to her IC. I inherited her sun sign as my ascendant and south node and I got a Moon-Pluto conjunction, the sun-neptune trine and the mars-pluto square, and got Uranus on an angle, conjunct my midheaven. My sister inherited my mom's sun as her moon sign, and a Moon-Pluto trine, as well as having Uranus conjunct her sun for an extra dose of the Aquarian vibe.

Lioness, you say your moon is Leo. In which sign does YOUR Sun fall? Does that sign come up in your Mum`s Sun, Moon or ASC sign or their dispositors? Your Mom`s Moon is SAg, so where is HER Jupiter and how relates her Jupiter-sign to your Sun, Moon, ASC or their dispositors in your chart?

Wow! You are as Leonine as I am Sagittarian (Sun, Mercury, Mars, ASC, NN in Sag with Venus in Cap and Moon in Aqua) What I see in the connection to your mother is this:
Your Sun and Moon dispositor are in the same sign as her mercury-disp.
Both your Mercury`s have Disp in the same sign (leo) her Moon disp and Moonsign is in the same element as your Sun and Moon and disp. Maybe the strongest interconnection is that your ASC-ruler is in her Moon-sign Moon-disp. I also noticed the resonance through dispositors in romantic relationships btw. And I guess it might also come up in friendships.
How is your relationship to your mother?
