Hi everyone, I've seen all sorts of things about lunar Capricorns and it's not the most accurate description of me at all. I can be cold when hurt but on the whole I've always been decribed as warm, generous, kind and sharing. I have no trouble at all letting people in, I trust easily, more than I should...I'm easy to get close to and people can quickly become a very close friend. That doesn't really fit Capricorn moon at all... I think that the moon is weak in my chart... I have; Sun: Taurus (11) Moon: Capricorn (8) Mercury: Taurus(11) Venus: Pisces (11) Mars: Leo (3) Jupiter: Sagitarius (6) Saturn: Pisces (10) Uranus: Aquarius (8) Neptune: Capricorn (8) Pluto: Scorpio (6) Rising Gemini. I myself think that because the moons ruler is in Pisces and that softens the placement. What does everyone else think? IP: Logged |

It depends how your moon is aspected, where it is in your chart. Also, not all Capricorn moons are calculating Scrooges. Sometimes it simply means you may suppress/bottle up your emotions. You might make friends easy, but how do you feel about yourself? Do you tell people you feel this way? How often? Do you cry all the time? Vedically you're an Aries with a Sagittarius moon which may explain where the warmth and liveliness comes from. (Or again, aspects.)Also wanted to add you have Venus in Pisces, Mars in Leo and Jupiter in Sagittarius (hooray for you, it's exalted there. Or if that's not the right word, it's just a really good placement for Sag to be in it's own planet.) Anyway, so the Venus in Pisces, Mars in Leo would explain the generosity and openness imo. Well, I never, ever cry...it's not because I'm ashamed of it...I just can't phyically do it...even when I was 7 and my Nan died...I loved her...yet I never cried I do feel quite ashamed of it actually!I'm very loyal to my friends, even if everyone else gave up on them I wouldn't. I'm always here 100% for people, no matter who they are. Theres nothing which I'm afiad to talk about...I can cope with anything:P IP: Logged |

Hmm. I wonder if that's Gemini rising 'cause I'm the same way. My moon is trine uranus though so it could be that. I care deeply about only a few things and people, enough to cry anyway. Loyalty is an earth/fire trait in my opinion so I'd accredit your Sun/Moon for that. And your Mars 'cause I heard the same thing about Leo. Take that with a grain of salt though 'cause I'm still a novice. IP: Logged |

It's because of your aspects! You have very positive aspects to your Moon, so this brings out the best in it.There are people out there with traditionally positive Moon signs like Taurus or Cancer... who have difficult Moon/Saturn squares or Moon/Mars squares.. and they seem to fit the negatives in the Cap Moon interp. The aspects really matter! I have Pisces Merc sextile my Moon exact... and I find it easy to express my emotions. I always know what I'm feeling and why. I'm sure that if you read a more realistic interpretation of Capricorn Moon - it would probably suit you. But a lot of the stuff out there is focused on the negatives. On the bright side - Cap Moon can be very reliable, trustworthy - someone people can count on.. emotionally understanding - does not get nervous easily.. Everything happens gradually, over time... For instance, you fall in love gradually. They are also psychologically perceptive and can spot a needle in a haystack. IP: Logged |

About crying - I do cry... I never think about this at all. It's not an issue for me. I could cry anywhere if I felt like crying - including in public. But generally I try to be positive and think on the bright side.. I don't like getting to the pint where I cry - because it depresses me. It doesn't help me. What helps is to get 'moving' and do something that puts a smile on my face. In the past I have cried intentionally (as an act)... in order to manipulate men I was in a relationship with. But that was only when it got to a point where I didn't know what else do to - They were completely out of whack. I think this is more my Gem/Cancer cusp - AC! IP: Logged |

You've got potent 8th house energy which would make you intense and with the Moon there emotionally intense and deep. That placement and your aspects could be why you don't come off like a typical Capricorn Moon. IP: Logged |
