Hey all,
I met a really cool lady recently, I checked out our synastry and composite and we had lots of Pluto energy, and I'm not sure what the difference is between a karmic relationship and a soulmate one (if there is a difference) but I thought Pluto had something to do with one or the other.

Here are the Pluto connections in synastry in case you don't want to read the chart (My planets are in the left column):
Pluto Square Sun
Pluto Square Moon
Pluto Sextile Venus
Pluto Sextile Saturn
Venus Trine Pluto
Moon Square Pluto

And in the composite:
Moon Conjunct Pluto
Sun Square Pluto
Venus Square Pluto
Mars Trine Pluto
Jupiter Trine Pluto
Neptune Sextile Pluto

I've read some pretty nasty things about some of those combos, however in both of our natals we both have Moon & Sun Square Pluto, so would that possibly mean we handle the relationship aspects better since we already carry them within ourselves?

Also how does having a soft aspect in synastry affect a hard aspect in the composite? By that I mean how would having Sun Conjunct Moon in synastry interact with Sun Square Moon in composite? Or even Venus Trine Pluto synastry vs Venus Square Pluto composite?

Apologies for the long questions but I appreciate any help.

Pluto takes like 12 years to move through a sign so unless the orbs are really tight (0-1.5), I wouldn't put too much stock in the aspects being indications of a karmic relationship.

The person that has the sun and moon in aquarius, venus in pisces, has the pluto aspects with everyone born around the same time as the other person (for at least like 2-3 years)

Can you add the asteriods karma, vertex, destinn and valentine? It's karmic if there are alot of node aspects, angle conjunctions to major planets, or vertex or karma hitting nodes, angles or important planets at a close orb.

Yes on the natals question. Maybe the composite part means initial attraction wears thin over time.

On Astro.com how does one add Karma, Destinn and Valentine to the chart? Out of the four asteroids you mentioned mintgirl, I only see Vertex as an option.

Also the Pluto connections are indeed quite close.
Pluto Square Sun at 0.26
Pluto Square Moon at 0.38
Pluto Sextile Venus at 0.35
Moon Square Pluto at 1.23

The only would that would be 'ruled out' I guess would be Venus Trine Pluto at 2.09

But like I said, since pluto moves really slow, you're going to have these aspects with everyone born round that time... So doesn't mean much. Do add the asteriods, it'll be obvious to see if it's karmic.

I would say if your asking because you feel it, then it probably is....

Also though I also believe we have several soul mates.. I dont see a soulmate is get together and live happily ever after..

These types of relationships change our entire being because the effect is so deep and internal..

I have moon/pluto in composite I feel the fated feeling.. Its been really tough and scary at the same time..
The pull to each other seems deep and intense...
The fear of loosing each other is primal..

Please can you explain how this person makes you feel?

Yeah we do meet more than one soulmate in our lifetime (if we're lucky) and they come into our lives to teach us lessons. You grow from them, but they're mostly not meant to be in your life 'forever'

It is hard to quantify, but the simplest feeling would just be a very strong need to be with her. I work with a company that primarily organizes festivals and plays, and we had a stack of candidates for potential parts and when I saw her picture, there was this feeling that I absolutely had to know more about her.

So when I did meet with her, it started off talking about the part, but by the end I don't think either of us gave a damn, we just started planning on when we would next meet.

Things got hot and heavy pretty quick, but we live a few hours away so we can't see each other as much as we'd like but often talk on the phone for hours. Sometimes I just like laying down with her next to me, her presence makes me feel enriched. There seems to be an ebb and flow to the energy, one minute we're happy just holding each other and then the next we're tearing each others clothes off.

We've had a few communication problems but nothing that wasn't easily remedied. I guess if you could sum the relationship up thus far in one word, it would be passion. I think about her all the time (never told her that) and she's always calling me up, seeing how I'm doing (I know such behavior would **** some people off, but not me).

That's all I feel like writing for now, hope it helps!

Thanks for sharing..

I think this could be a good relationship. If the two of you are ready to handle pluto..

Pluto wants transformation... You two have come together to change things about each other...Which can be very difficult..

Either way this will be a relationship you will never forget..

OHH BTW.. NN is in H5 of romance in the composite.. Its also the house of "your kids" so be careful, and use protection
Note Sun/Venus in h5 also...

Thanks for the input Lioness!
With those things you listed in H5, does that mean somehow risk of pregnancy is elevated?

aw okay sounds like your meeting was fated. I had that sort of feeling before. This huge pull, like he was the black hole (lol) and I couldn't get away. It was intense, beautiful, very devastating, extremely heartbreaking but very much life changing.
He made me a better and stronger person. =)

Ah very interesting mintgirl. You said earlier that soulmates (if that's what she is) are usually not meant to last forever, but perhaps they can if both partners put the proper amount of work in?

We have Venus Sextile Saturn in synastry and Moon Sextile Saturn in composite, aspects often touted for their longevity. Obviously two aspects just won't immediately trump any and all emotional pressure, but surely they add a bit of stability, yes?

I do try and remain self-conscious of myself and how she may interpret my actions, as she's more on the receiving end of Pluto than me but I digress. I would never wish to hurt her.

It's not about saturn aspects though. We set ourselves lessons before we reincarnate, and through our life, we may encounter soulmates (sometimes) to learn those lessons. Most of them aren't meant to stay long term, they kinda enter your life, shake it up alot, and then just go. That's the way things are unfortunately. They won't end up being with you for a long time, bc that's how things are meant to be. Maybe it might lead to marriage, but alot of the time, it's not going to be like that.

Yes the bad experience serve a greater purpose.. I like to say it puts your AZZ in gear to your path..

Only the memories might not be treasured..

My daughters dad.. OMg worst relationship ever.. but it kicked my butt into gear and set me on a better path.. Which was away from him..
But I went through hell getting through it.

Ah I see...well that's kind of a bummer. Makes me see the relationship in a more fatalistic light. Makes me somewhat sad, but I'll try and make every bit of joy last as long as possible.
