I think it makes me more prone to overindulgence if anything. It's not "bad" like a Saturn square would seem bad, but it can lead to its own issues.

You know i always get lucky in my creative pursuits. I happen to take a good picture which makes a projects really good. Even my teachers say I get lucky :P

Honestly, I'd agree with most of the posters here. I tend towards overindulgence, over-generosity, and being overly lucky (on occasion). Yes, I am overly lucky. But I am also overly unlucky too (probably due to the fact that Uranus conjuncts my Jupiter).

A significantly bad thing happens and then a significantly good thing happens to balance it out. My life is very strange like that.

One of my life long best friends has it. Its not bad per se, she is very sweet and generous, not very lucky at all tho, especially not in love. She also has an extremely exagerated opinion of herself thats very unrealistic, lol, shes a bit of a fat head, but you gotta love her anyways!

I have this in my progressed chart. Its not bad at all. Looking at it from face value, it is an affliction but definitely not one of the worst afflictions. Actually, I wouldn't even call it an affliction imo. How can two beneficial planets be bad? A Venus square Jupiter is excess and overindulgence but where does it come from? It comes from the trine otherwise how else will there be self indulgence in the first place? The square aspect uses the same energies or "ingredients" as the trine but it is used or expressed a little differently. Thats all.
