Hello!

I've been marveling at various transits of mine lately. I was curious: Have you had a transit that you thought would wreck your life but it turned out to be really beneficial or beautiful? I'm starting to see how much it pays off when we do our inner work; "hard" transits don't have to be so hard!

Uranus conjunct mars, square moon, Venus, and nodes. There were things happening that destroyed my life later, but that transit was really good.

Pluto on my ascendant has been aweful, but I've done the work and it seems to have paid off. Right now I have Pluto transit opposite my sun and I hardly feel it at all!

@teasel aw ok! This inspired me to look up when Uranus was on my Mars... I found the timeframe but I don't remember what happened at the exact time, hm! I was single though, and playing the field

@ayelet I've heard so much about transit Pluto conj Asc! I won't ever experience it, but I have had my shared of Pluto transits and I have Pluto opp Merc and Sun coming up. Happy to hear that you're seeing your work has been paying off.

Thanks for your replies!

Jupiter transiting my 8th house at the time of my dad's passing. I was still learning astrology planet basics in some fashion then, and all signs pointed to it being Saturn's movement.

Jupiter is often talked about as beneficiary, but it was a significantly awful time. Saturn has only ever been a blessing through transit.

I have theories about the whole ties of Jupiter = Zeus and while he is named the god of gods in Greek mythos, he was also a horrible person who raped and deceived a lot of people. So while it may benefit some, it's entirely dependant on whether it benefits 'Jupiter'.

Food for thought I guess.

hey @implosions
thanks for sharing that. im sorry for your loss <3

that is an interesting take on jupiter. yeah, its wise to consider that every single planetary body has a spectrum of characteristics that can take different forms depending on so many elements!

i am completing jupiter through my 8th right now, actually. went through a very tough separation these last few years and have been getting some helpful $ support from others throughout this jupiter-in-the-8th time. so, also been a challenging time in my life but the extra support has def helped me keep things afloat on the physical plane.

as for saturn, those transits are still teaching me so much! saturn opp sun wasnt much fun for me a couple years ago... ran into karmic situations with challenging teacher-people. but my ego prob needed it, ha! now i have saturn inconjunct sun and im really applying what i learned from that time.

have also had saturn conjunct moon recently and that wasnt easy... but i have been working my butt off to take better care of myself and it has paid off.

grateful for all the lessons from these energies !

Thank you <3 From what it seems, Jupiter may also just 'highlight' whatever themes of the environment it's passing through. IE: Passing through the house of death and taxes ... Well. Perhaps money balancing and/or literal death of some kind. An abundance of the themes. For Jupiter especially, but overall in astrology, I wish there was a movement to shed the seemingly strict use of Greek/Roman mythos around our western understanding of astrology. It feels not only limiting, but almost appropriating in a way. I am sure there are some of us who descend from Greek and Roman ancestry, but it's saturation worries me sometimes in how it can pidgeon-hole our understanding. Or at least of themes, I guess.

I'm sorry you're going through a tough time with this transit as well- I know some parts of it can be wonderfully supportive (it is the house of sharing as well! even my experience had pockets of wonderful support).

Saturn could be trickier-- Or perhaps I'm slightly biased, as I have fairly harmonious Saturn placements (ohh... and disharmonic aspects for Jupiter, hm!) in my own chart. I know the initial transits can be rough with Saturn, but they usually pay off in a very satisfying way later on! My partner is experiencing Saturn/Moon right now too, and witnessing it is tough... It's very heavy, but even from the outside the experience seems to be growing new sprouts in such a visible way. I hope the same for you <3

True story which is a bit funny, I think. I don't think the same interaction whould happen in the US though.

Transits:
Jupiter conjunct Sun
Jupiter conjunct Mercury
Jupiter trine Moon

I was speeding 75kph/46mph in a 40kph/25mph zone.

It was originally a 60kph/37mph zone but
I didn't slow down before the speed changed on this section of road. I normally go no more then 15km/10mph over the limit.

I was flagged and pulled over. I was in an acceptance of the fact state of mind and figuring out the next step the entire time?

I took the keys out of the ignition put it on the dash, stretched my hands on the steering wheel and waited for the officer to approach.

Then I was thinking "There goes the end of my great insurance rate" and how much will it go up? from which account will I move funds from to cover the increased rates?...I thought.

The officer then came to the window and said, can you lower your window please? I said the keys are on the Dash officer?

He then said to me word for word you didn't have to do that, this isn't the US.

I gave him my drivers licensee, registration and proof of insurance.

He did a quick check, came back to the car and said "you don't have anything outstanding, just slow down" then he let me go.

Thinking back I realize how ridiculous I must have appeared. I gave him the look that I was expecting to get my a$$ whopped by the police after being pulled over, lol.

That plus it was almost lunch when he pulled me, so I bet he's been there since early morning and already pulled over a couple other cars before me and they gave him trouble and I was the first person not to.

Having 3 planets in Scorpio is intense...BUT over quick. Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus is fuel to the fire for anything fixed in my chart. Realized how awful my job was. Scorpio is my 6th house. Aqua is my 9th and 10th house. Leo is 3/4 house. Taurus is my 12th house. Work was overbearing...these areas are not balanced and adding up. Was able to change it quickly.

I went through something similar in 2017/18. But was not able to get a new job right away. Because Saturn and Jupiter were transiting my 6th house. (Plus Neptune transiting 10th house at the time)

I have one more ****** week to get though. I get to hear about my friends having fun. When my job stresses me out this bad it's hard to be around friends with out snapping, getting emotional, trauma dumping on someone I just met. But they have also been a great support for quitting my job.

But seeing the transits I know more fun times are ahead taking a less stressful job, and seeing that Venus has entered my 5th house.

With this sun mars cazimi starting to happen I can see breakthroughs with a connection I have with somebody.
I think when its exact it will conjunct his pluto and square his saturn. conjunct my Juno square my mars

Oh and I think Mercury and Uranus were conjunct yesterday. Opposing his pluto and opposing my Juno squaring my mars and his saturn.

I'm standing up to workplace meanie vampires, and it's causing a ruckus.

I have an example, but rather unpleasant one.

It's about Jupiter.

When Ju was crossing my Asc, in Scorpio, my mother died. Also due to that whole ordeal, I lost about 7 kg in a month (14 lbs).

Now, Ju is crossing my 7th house and since it started retrograding, my marriage is falling apart, especially when it was exact on my moon, which is also in thr 7th house, Taurus

So, Ju is not always the Great Benefactor, at least not for me. For example, Saturn transits bringe me more happines

edit: just saw the post from @implosions, who wrote something similar.

I can see Jupiter square Venus playing out. I like this much better than a moon square or sun square.

I am at my last job that has been so deteriorating my mental health...basically very zero effs and taking some days before I start my next job. The transit should be pretty much done when I start next job. Good timing on this transit.

Saturn retrograde has been self esteem battles while dealing with attention from thirsty men that I'm not interested in.

I still like it better than when it was opposing my Venus

I’m sorry to hear about your Dad. For what it’s worth, I’ve seen Jupiter active in the charts of many at the time of passing. It’s something aboit “being freed from earthly bounds.”

Of course, you have to see what other transits are in play as a single transit doesn’t a whole chart make.

Saturn gives you what you work for. There are no “gifts” with Saturn unless you’ve paid for them by labouring mentally, physically and emotionally.

I had the feared Uranus opposition two years ago. Natally I have Uranus conjunct my AC and Chiron on my DC. So Tr Uranus was conjunct my Chiron.

What was surprising, to me as well as those on the receiving end, was how Saturnian instead I became. Previously a long-sufferer of familial energy and monetary vampires, I seemingly erected boundaries overnight. And I did this all over Facebook messenger and Whatsapp in group chats, a Uranian means.

I guess the instinct was always to detach but it took this transit for me to act on it. It has liberated me on so many fronts.

Hallo StrangeCat,
Thanks for that share! That is an interesting case. I've wondered how transit Uranus conjunct Chiron can show up... I haven't seen it much for people so far, but I see it coming soon for a few people I'm close with.
Appreciate your input!

You are most welcome! 🙏

Recently Tr Jupiter retrograded to conjunct my Chiron again. That had positives in terms of work (Sag is on the cusp of my 2nd) but it triggered my natal Uranus on AC.

I would say that with Uranus and Chiron (which I was born with natally, 3 degree orb, slightly wide for Chiron) the pain can be unexpected and result in what looks like knee-jerk reactions. It only looks that way to others because they do not realise that I’ve been sitting with the idea of detaching for a while.

As it falls on my relational axis, I also come across many “wounded” people, for work, sometimes even socially, via Uranian means. That’s echoed in my L7, being conjunct a detrimented Saturn.

Saturn return was the biggest one. If there’s one thing I know it’s real and I see it in other people’s lives, it’s this.

Made me grow up, leave my house and hometown, something I’ve always wanted to do but never had the courage, and became my own person. I actually started feeling like an adult.
