I was wondering, what does it mean if your natal descendant becomes the SR's ascendant mean? Is it a likelihood of marriage for the coming year? Does it matter what sign it is in?

I was having my bf+our synastry /composite charts read and someone commented that by 2012 it will "most likely get close to marriage". I was wondering, what aspects in the SR chart can indicate that?

This is what I noticed about my bf's SR chart. He has Natal Ascendant is Sag and Gemini is the SR ascendant (in 7th). Also, he has SR venus conjunct his natal ASC. However, SR moon is in the 10th house, so he will be very restless when it comes to career and profession this year?

Post up your partners natal chart so I can see if it shows up as marriage, or even your own. Your's better.

A solar return is not a general prediction tool, so asc's swapped mean nothing at all. A solar return will show you WHERE in your life your house with LEO on will manifest. I repeat - a return is not a GENERAL prediction tool. Otherwise, what do you think all the other returns show?

Thanks Coffee! I'll post up mine..since this year really sucked @$$ for me!!!!!!! I've been soooo emotionally drained. I don't know why I am so emotional this year, way more than other years!!! I was *supposed* to be on the way of getting married (or atleast engaged) this year, but I broke up with my ex bf before that ever happened.

Instead, I am now dating a new person for 6 months. But I've just been bouncing off walls. It's gotta be that saturn!!

1st ruler (self) PLUTO and 7th ruler (marriage) VENUS

PLUTO is on a separating sextile to natal VENUS. The aspect is made exact when PLUTO is 60 degrees away, but you will feel the effect of this transit 5 degree separating and applying to the sextile. So, look at when PLUTO is at degrees 4'22 Capricorn to 14'22 Capricorn.

On the positive side, this transit will cover about 5-6 years, which is great for marriage or partner issues. whoever you're with. On the negative side, this influence happens again in 20 years or so, which means you really need to make the most of that period which I mentioned.

Hey Starry. I have that in my solar return soon, my 0 degree cap desc is my solar return asc. Wonder what that means. I remember reading somewhere that I'll feel like I won't have any control over things, instead be at the mercy of other people. Meh.

Aquavenus - hmm im not sure but I guess it kinda applies to me also? I just feel like a lot of the things I get worked up over I can't do anything about. So I guess yes-I feel very powerless. It's a constant struggle for me lately because I have to grit my teeth. =/ how about you? How do you feel about it?

I also have Saturn sitting on my sun until next year..and this year blows!!

This might sound quite silly of me but correct me if I'm wrong-solar return chart gets activated only after the sun has returned to its natal position right? Still have another week to go until that happens.

I thought its only your bf who has the asc/desc switch. You have a similar SR?

Anywho, about being powerless, well I've felt like that a looong while. Pluto is moving through 7th ha! Not sure the swapped asc/desc can do much damage there.
