The main masculine and female energies are the Sun and the Moon. That is literally the yin and yang

Why are men not solarians and women lunarians?

I Notice women are more influenced by the Moon than they are by Venus

S-turn is the other masculine planet along with Mars. Moon/Venus are feminine and S-turn/Mars are masculine. The Sun is actually pretty androgynous, I've found. It makes sense, though, because the opposite of the Sun is Uranus.

Referring to yin-yang, the other half of the Moon is S-turn, or Cancer and Capricorn, Nadir and Midheaven.

None of this really answers your question, but info nonetheless.

If you're going by yin and yang, it's Moon/S-turn. The Sun and the Moon, as well as Jupiter and S-turn, are thought of as pairs of planets, but not yin-yang pairs. The Moon (the subconscious) and Mercury (the conscious) are a pair too, but not a yin-yang pair.

Personally, as a solar person, I don't quiiiite like lunar people. The only lunar person I like is actually stronger in Pluto energy, which goes good with my other half, which is plutonic as well.

I think it's because Western society just loves to boil everything down to sex...
The Venus/Mars thing has sexual undertones.
