I want to share this interesting pattern that I found in my personal astrological data set with people close to me;No less than 3 equal examples (I'm one of them) of true long-term friendships! They're all about roughly *15* years age gap and share: - Mars/Mars conjunction exact. - Draconic Chiron conjunct Draconic Chiron (exact & pretty exact) Ok.. I sort of feel I have an immense lack of astronomical insight right now (it's not the first time that I feel that) but I remember reading somewhere that there's something (astronomically) very special about this 15 years age gap but I can't lay my finger on it... I feel I miss something...
.. anyone? or maybe you have your examples? IP: Logged |

hi mir! i just got back online and owe you a reply on the other thread which i should be able to get you by tonight (thankyou by the way!!)..could the 15 year thing be saturn-saturn opposition? it's usually about 14 years but i think it could go to 15 depending on the retroactivity and such. do your natal NNs aspect your natal chirons at all? Okay, I give up! It's too complex for an uninitiated like myself..but I know now that it's a pretty interesting 'coincidence' that in all three cases there's also a drac.-chiron/chiron conjunction. Haii Woah! Thanks! Please don't force yourself to give a reply 'just-because..' only if you feel it and have the need to... (I just got back online here also) And yea.. you're right, it's often the saturn-saturn opp. with that roughly 15 years age gap.. with TWO of the three cases/couples I mention above it's there. And with one of the 3 couples (coincidentally 'mine') they indeed also both have an exact natal NN/Chiron-sextile! (never noticed that one with us) I remember you posting on that old saturn/saturn thread of mine - pretty recently! (it's the same guy I'm talking about here but things with him are sort of *changed* now - that rare sustaining effect is clearly there) and well yea.. two of the couples (one is man/man) had a pure sexual encounter ONCE.. (for me enough ) and with the third couple it's hard to tell but let's say it wouldn't surpise me if something has happened in that way.. but not a regular basis. Ami thanks!! IP: Logged |

hey mir! no, i want to reply! problem is i only tend to get time every few days and often that will get thwarted mid-reply sesh. i'm very fixed, heh, so i like to *maintain* and experience mild panic attacks when threads move really fast on here okay yes saturn opp saturn is verrrry weird and sticky. i don't remember which thread that was tho! did i link to that awesome article on the opposition? i just got out of one of those relationships and it was very sort of for-better-or-worse and hard to get away from entirely and brought up a LOT in the areas of responsibility, which is great, but also packs a lot of potential for behaving IRresponsibly too, if you swing that way. corrective measures are completely voluntary, and with that, i was finally able to extract myself (responsibility toward MYSELF and his irresponsibility proving more tempting than treating me honourably). BUT yeah in general and with those less prone TO irresponsible behaviours, i think it is a rather *lovely* aspect actually. it's very sobering and grounded, even tho it does tend to create an on/off again dynamic to some extent (space to learn and apply the lessons it seems). so it could be really great! and yeah mars/mars sounds hot. never had it personally, but dang, those who cj my mars in any capacity always get me going so i'm assuming that would be mutual/exponential with the conjunction!!
