Please provide your interpretations. I'm not going by the usual interpretations from Cafe Astrology and Sky View Zone etc.Moon in Gemini: 4th House vs. 3rd House Sun in Capricorn: 11th House vs. 10th House It's Whole House vs. Placidus/Equal. I refuse to post charts because I have no intentions of having this moved to Personal Readings, so don't ask please. Thank you. IP: Logged |

They would be very different. The adjoining houses are very different making it kind of easy to figure out this sort of thing imo Moon----3rd House Love to talk, must talk and chat in life friendly open kind of person by nature Moon in 4th Family comes first very bonded to family May be a homebody type or is in one's heart anyway ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Thank you. Score one for Whole House and Moon in 4th House. Friendly but not open. Don't like strangers and don't talk to strangers. Family is the end all and be allnof my life, and i definitely don't mean birth family! IP: Logged |

Ian In my opinion, you are an 11th house Sun as I think your deepest heart is in doing charity. Where would that put your moon? You seem chatty and friendly but you love family too. I would put you as a 4th house moon, I think but I could go with either on that. That is my 2 cents------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

But that's precisely my point. Both ways are applicable on the Sun, with my own prejudices towards the 10th House. My moon belongs in 4th. And this just confirms my confusion as to which methodology to apply. Ami, I am slightly different from the way I behave on LL. Starry would tell you that I am friendly but most definitely anti-social. I adore charitable work but my life is centered around family and work. IP: Logged |

Ok--so 10 and 4--then. You would know in your heart if you thought deeply about it, I think Ian. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

It's difficult to tell in your case since you have a Cap Sun, and Cap is the natural ruler of the 10th. Same with Gemini Moon, and the 3rd house. Are you private with your emotions, or are you an open book? IP: Logged |

Quite private. Except when I'm truly upset. Thanks for helping. IP: Logged |

you can easily rectify your own chart by researching the house meaning and planets in signs..Basic astrology forum, All About Moons http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000681.html To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology…. Basic astrology forum, House meanings http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000683.html To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology…. If you think of the houses being that of a CAKE, wherever you sun sign is by house, is going to have a large piece of cake as this is where your main focus is going to be. so sun in 10th is going to be very concerned with work, career and social image, if you cannot achieve alone, may well push a parnter to achieve this. Generally they want to become known for something in society. sun in 11th is focused on friendships, group activities, large organisations etc. I have moon in 3rd conj 4th cusp, but then again i have stellium in 4th which will trump any moon placement. Wherever moon is placed is where we 'seek and give out' emotional contact, nurturance etc. IP: Logged |

are either sun or moon conj a house cusp? as this would be interpreted in the next house along going anti clockwise..Planets conjunct a house cusp http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showpost.php?p=202304&postcount=7 http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=205033#post205033 Planets conj House cusp “Ascendant at 15’ Libra and Jupiter 13’ Libra. That would place Jupiter in the 12th house, right? But many thoughtful astrologers would read this as Jupiter being conjunction with Ascendant, and end up reading it as bringing its action to bear in the first house, rather than in the 12th. This same idea would apply for each and every house cusp. If the planet is IN THE SAME SIGN as the sign on the next house cusp, and close enough to be CONJUNCT WITH that next house cusp, the action of the planet will be directed into oncoming house” http://www.astrology-numerology.com/inhouses.html http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14887 http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showpost.php?p=125412&postcount=4 Ptolemy says the influence of the house begins to be felt 5° before the actual cusp. http://www.astrologycom.com/houses.html “Astrologers have seen a body influencing the house it is about to enter, time and time again. All theorizing aside, the planet casting its shadow ahead works. I can speak from personal experience, as well as reading ancient texts. If you discover this as true, then the next question may be, "Just how close must a body be to a cusp before it begins to be felt in the neighboring house?" I've seen some authors say 3 degrees. I've seen some that give 5 degrees. I have seen some that even give 8 degrees. And there may be other variations.” http://astronuts.tribe.net/thread/90c9f417-5086-4ff0-b31f-c904fe99baca

your Asc is 5'59" and your sun is 5'39" therefore is is conj 11th house cusp and I would say 11th. When its this close is like standing in a doorway with your back to 10th and are now facing forward and stepping into 11th.moon would be in 3rd in Equal and placidus at 3'16" and IC being 9'38" --- so this is over 6' away from IC cusp so ruler of IC is gemini/mercury and asc ruler is neptune and here we see a sextile aspect, showing an easy affinity with family members and matters. Ruler of the Fourth House in the Eleventh House "Your home base may be subject to a lot of changing circumstances beyond your control or it might just be that your home is unusual in some way. Your upbringing may have contributed to a desire for radical social change or perhaps your security needs are fulfilled through belonging to clubs and organizations or otherwise interacting with people in a common cause." http://www.skyviewzone.com/astrology/houserulerships.htm#hr4 I have gemini IC and there has always been lots going on in my home http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16855&highlight=home+roots Basic astrology forum, Learn about Mercury http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000690.html To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology…. lookng at your chart in that previous thread, i want to go off topic a little and explain what I see in your parallels in declinations....parallel - which acts like a conjunction sun/mars mars/MC saturn/neptune mercury/venus contra parallel - which acts like an opposition uranus/Asc basic astrology forum, parallels in declination http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000675.html To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology….

I've decided that I can't have my cake and eat it too. As much as I believe that my Moon should be in the Fourth House, it's my Sun that matters, and it really ought to be in the 10th House because that us fundamentally who I am. The Sun would take precedence. I'm not a sociable person and I do not depend on social organizations for my self esteem. Neither do I have friends. I do like charitable causes though. Nevertheless, my self esteem is driven largely by my career and reputation is as equally important as success. So, I remain stuck between Placidus and Whole House. IP: Logged |
