Ok fixing to meet a new guy. My venus in my 5th opposes his mars in his 4th, 1 deg. I've experienced the conjunction, square, and trine, anyone have any input for the opposition.

I have my Venus opposite the Mars of a lady I have been trying to romance since time began (we also have Sun/Moon/Jupiter conjunction). I find her to be amazingly attractive, even to the point of where I would call her the paradigm of the perfect woman, however she seems to be unaware that I even exist.

So I can attest to the attraction one way, but not sure how the reverse works.

We also have a mars neptune double whammy, which I'm iffy on, because I had this in a past relationship and there was a lot of deciet, subterfuge, and he sexually frustrated me. He was neptune and my mar's conj 1 deg.

I've experienced this aspect in which I was mars and he was venus. It would've been great with the attraction alone....the problem was he expected me to do all the chasing which I don't normally do. Because of that, it took EONS for anything to get off the ground.

Basically if you don't like to chase, then make sure you're venus in this particular aspect.

ScrappyDog:

I am the Sun/Jupiter, she is the Moon.

I am also the Venus, she is the Mars.

Traditionally I would expect the Mars to chase Venus, however in my case it is me (Venus) chasing her (Mars) and getting a response that I would equate with the average cadaver.

Aloof,

any other major aspects to your venus? And what do your house overlays look like?

annaf,

No other major Venus aspects. There are other synastry aspects in general but nothing related to my Venus.

For house overlays, her Mars falls in my 4th, my Venus falls in her 2nd.

Realistically, I think the issue has more to do with her 12th house Moon than the Mars/Venus issue. I usually refer to the 12th house Moon as the "emotional prison", people with this aspect can be boiling over inside, but you would never know it.

Oh I'm sorry about that situation Aloof. With me it's his sun and my moon also, but it's my venus and his mars. Maybe because the roles are reversed the attraction is different in your case?? I'm a femininst, BUT I enjoy aspects more when it's my venus and moon aspecting the man's sun, jupiter, and mars. Guess I'm still all women.

"I have my Venus opposite the Mars of a lady I have been trying to romance since time began"

Lol that is such a Venus thing to say...romance.

"It would've been great with the attraction alone....the problem was he expected me to do all the chasing which I don't normally do"

Oh boy sooooo true. I have this aspect with an ex of mine who also happens to have his Mars in Aries, and seriously he is the most passive guy EVER (the virgo moon doesn't help). He did the ititial chasing, but after we got settled it was me who had to push things physically and make moves. It sucked BECAUSE I'm a Taurus Venus (who sooooo doesn't chase), and a Cancer Mars (which is in the 1st soooo I can be agressive and chase...but perfer to seduce). Either way the attraction was great. I can't speak for him but I couldn't keep my hands off of him. Too bad he's immature, otherwise I would without a doubt give it a try again.

Oh my God, same story with me. I'm the mars and he would in a lot of pain expect me to make a move.

Mars (mine) conjucts neptune (his) makes it that each time i did (chase him) he became aloof. My scorpio stellium couldn't take it and move on, and he would be in alot of pain to have me back.

So frustrating.

But the sexual tension, off the chart. I could be with him all day long and wouldn't mind a tiny bit
