Hmmm good question. Maybe influence how practical/grounded we are? Like an air sign earth would not be grounded at all? IP: Logged |

I just have this intuitive certainty that it would depend if the subject on Mars was born there or elsewhere (presumably Earth), but I suppose that makes sense as being born on Mars would significantly change their natal chart and Earth would have to be defined as an influence (and how much Mars counts for one born on Mars, and for one born on Mars who goes to Earth or some other world). As we expand into the solar system astrology is going to see some major changes. How natal charts are figured from space stations will be especially fun. And then when people are born in between the stars and in other star systems it's going to radically evolve again. And should there ever be some hyperspace dimension that people are born in...it could possibly inspire total revolutionary changes in astrology as to become unrecognizable to us. IP: Logged |

Have you checked out heliocentric charts? There's an option on astro and it has an sigil for earth on it (it's in conjunction with the Moon). You can try googling heliocentric charts and what the earth signifies in those.IP: Logged |

If we lived on Mars, I would be exalted, since mine's in Cap. So would anyone else with the same placement. :PIP: Logged |

So, is this supposing that Earth was never a lush planet full of life, or that humans had to move to Mars for some reason after leaving Earth. I always liked Donna Cunningham's idea that Earth actually rules Taurus. So, assuming that Mars were still a dry, red planet, with I'm assuming outposts or something, maybe Earth would symbolise fertility in one's chart.(??) I'm bored too IP: Logged |

Maybe there were ancient civilizations on Mars at one time. Maybe someday, people will inhabit Mars, and they will be doing archaeological excavations and discovering ancient astrological texts and such, from a Martian's p.o.v.!IP: Logged |

I also wonder if the Martian energy/drive would be greater. I've heard how planetary influences are vibrational, and being on Mars would obviously increase that vibe. Wasn't part of Total Recall set on Mars? They all seemed like real dirty and agressive peeps. My Toro Gramma used to pop it into the VHS when I would visit, which was soo weird now that I think about it...IP: Logged |
