One of the things Venus in Pisces is known for is being easily hurt. Mine conjuncts my ascendant from the 12th house side, 2 degree orb. So it's double duty--Pisces sign in the Piscean house. Add to that the square to Neptune which is said to create an inferiority complex, and perhaps you'll see where I'm going with this. Now, granted, Venus is exalted in Pisces, but it 's said to be exalted because Venus knows the value of unconditional love through sacrifice. The more I've read that, I can't help but think my appearance has somehow been sacrificed toward the inferior end of things, and with the conjunction to Jupiter,I have to wonder how much that's been magnified. Kind of stings a bit, frankly. I dunno... maybe I'm reading into the opposite of what it's meant to be interpreted as. I'm stop whining now, lol.Any others with the same (or similar) placements? venus in house 12 is not bad. I dont like when all bad things puts up. For me that is a bullying thing and not evolving at all.. Every aspect and every placement is an possibility. Venus in house 12 bring so much positive to other people. I also think what we give will be back. kindeness and humbleness in much much much strenght... that is venus in house 12 square to neptun. Venus in square to neptun will increase all this trait. I think square is good like a real trigger.... IP: Logged |

Venus in a sign isn't as strong as the aspects it makes, in my opinion. You have Jupiter conjuncting it, that's a pretty good thing. I don't see Venus/Neptune hard aspects as too difficult, yes they can make you prone to illusions, but who is realistic when it comes to love anyway? As for it being in the 12th, it can mean a secretive nature when it comes to romance. Either hidden affairs (yes, I do mean it) or just someone who likes to keep things private.

A family member close to me has Venus in Pisces. EXTREMELY sensitive... cries very easily and they are male. Wants affectionate and almost soothing exchanges with people, despite having an energetic personality this placement and his Cancer Moon makes him very hurt by sneering, shouting or reprimanding. So, so sad that his parents are very emotionally upset and loud, angry people. It is really a sin. They are not emotionally accommodating or aware of his moods at all. I just want to rescue him. We both had disruptive childhoods and it is killing me to see this happening to him, it's like my life in a different form all over again. IP: Logged |

Very sorry to hear that. What aspects his Venus? Which house is his Venus in? With his Moon in Cancer, does his Venus trine his Moon? I appreciate you sharing, even though it sounds like an especially sensitive subject for you. Thanks. I hope things improve.

The 12th House is good. Don't listen to the garbage that the 12th House is bad. I have Venus in the 12th HOuse myself. It is wonderful. And enough with the nonsense about secretive romances already. Many of the world's most prominent leaders have or had stellium of 12 house planets. IP: Logged |

I understand, but my focus was on Venus in Pisces signifying one who if easily hurt, and its square to Neptune signifying an inferiority complex. Since Venus was conjunct my Pisces ascendant, I wasn't sure what that would mean in terms of my appearance or how I come across publicly. A professional astrologer I once spoke to (who only touched upon the subject very briefly) commented that the square could signify there being quite a difference between how I view myself and how the public views me. To me, it's not so much an insecure matter of "what do people think of me?" as much as speculating about the discrepany in my perception of myself vs. the public's perception of me. But yes, YTA, you're correct about 12th house stelliums. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has one.

Thanks. I don't mind sharing...it hurts me a lot though to never feel like I can fully help him. He is just a child. And I have harbored a weird fantasy of adopting him some day. That's how much I want him to have a good life. It would never happen in a million years of course. But still....I just wish me or someone more empathetic could take him away from that terrible house. He also has H4 Pluto opposite Moon and this further indicates to me he will continue to resent his mother. Even now at 6.5 he begs to be away from her any time he can. It is so troubling. His Venus is in the 7th conjunct his Descendant and it squares his Moon. It also trines Saturn and sqaures Pluto. Why do I feel this will be even harder for him? It gives me a sad feeling. I have the Saturn Venus trine too...and I never felt fully loved by people. Still don't actually.

Only 6.5, and experiencing all that emotional turmoil? That just breaks my heart. My heart goes out to both that little boy and yourself, hoping you both find comfort and solace in each others' company.
