Is this an aspect that shows separation or a relationship that will never occur? I tried looking for information online but was left dissatisfied with the information I saw. If someone could shed some light on this aspect, it would be great! Thanks!!IP: Logged |

This is from grupovenus. This aspect alone is not bad but too many Uranus aspects sucks. Venus conjunct Uranus
Probably you fell in love quickly; and you may have felt the sparks intensely. Your partner appreciates your spontaneity and is probably not looking for a relationship for a feeling of security, because that may be lacking here. Still both of you can inspire each other and have a wonderful time together. Your partner won't have any problems showing his emotions openly, which will bring harmony into the relationship. He will be attracted to your unique and lively character, this reassurance will be good for you. It will hardly be boring, you should be happy to be together and remain optimistic. Let's see what others have to add too

Close, hard aspects between venus and uranus often Dont last unless there are major saturn and/or nodal contacts and still not even then sometimes. They are exciting and very attracting at first though. It often fizzles out into some major instability and sometimes can swing to outright dislike later on.IP: Logged |

Thank you for your input scrappydog! So does this mean that if there is venus conjunct saturn in addition to venus conjunct uranus the relationship may last a little while longer?

Doomed? No. Just took about seven years to get to where we (finally!) are. Complicated? Yes. Unconventional? Oh, very.My best friend and I have this, but it's wide. I was hoping this aspect would pop up; I've been wondering about it, too. Even wide as it is. It's probably offset by the other aspects, though. Sun conj ASC, Moon, Venus, Mercury, and Jupiter. Saturn-Pluto semisextiles everything, though. Not sure if I'd call that 'the glue', but despite crazy-ridiculous obstacles, we've never been able to stay away from each other. (Maybe because it's all in Scorpio.) I DO count the aspect, though. Sparks most definitely flew. It was like the quintessential rom-com couple that starts out offended and insulting and barbing and bantering. (But with dual Moon-Mars activity, that's easy to see why.) Eventually, we realised we were each other's best friend, and just went with it. Any kind of open acknowledgement of our overwhelming chemistry would come later, though. And THAT has been circumstantially intermittent for years. -A. IP: Logged |

I'd think that would be awesome, frankly. It would temper some of the Uranian influence, though. I'd think it'd give the relationship staying power, and, potentially, negate some of the seriously depressing effect of Saturn conj. Sun. -A.

Oh good grief. I just went through a whole soap opera drama about Venus and Uranus. . I have the Sextile in Composite and Trine in Synastry. It is a fantastic, fabulous aspect!!! I've been married 19 years. That is the practical reality. Don't listen to all that hogwash about sudden separation. For crying out loud, personal determination, tenacity and accountability in a loving relationship trumps any bad aspect, and there's nothing bad about that aspect to begin with. Frankly, the naysayers can stuff themselves. IP: Logged |
