Emotional masochists that is…I’m wondering if this is a tendency. Scorpio definitely has an affinity towards the dark side of things. Maybe it depends on the placements but I personally can’t distinguish them from each other since my Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Pluto and North Node are all in Scorpio and they all act as one. I think that Scorpio Moons tend to be masochistic. I can’t image what an Aquarius with a Scorpio Moon will be like for example.

I don't think the Sun sign alone can do that.
I'd say masochism is more related to afflicted Saturn/Neptune and the Virgo/Pisces axis.
I know quite some Scorpios and they're very different from me, especially those with some Sag in them. I have strong Scorp/Pluto but an afflicted Saturn and loaded 6th. I'm definitely masochistic but I don't think the actual Scorpio planets are responsible for it. Could be wrong.
