[if you don't know what Discord is, it is basically a new age Forum/social media platform, sort of like here on Lindaland! except, it is a live chat, with multiple channels to choose from sort of like the topic categories here on linda-land. Sometimes the chat can be active with many members talking at once, sometimes it can be dead with slow and steady conversations. Some channels are dedicated as an archive/lots of organization]

Right now, I have channels for beginner resources for new astrology students such as free e-books and downloadable books, as well as a how-to-read-a-birthchart guide that I created myself with graphics and keywords made easy to use for beginners. We have a Master Asteroid/Aracbic Lot list as well.

I also have many experimental astrology channels such as Sexstrology, Death Transit Studies, Serial Killer Chart Studies, Trauma/psychology in Astrology, Crypto/financial astrology, & much more. & would love to expand and add more experimental topics related to astrology.

We have pingable/mentionable roles where you can ping people to ask astrology/tarot/occult questions & get an answer on the fly. As well as Question of The Week where we ask random questions about your chart [what is your most challenging placement & why, or - what placement would you say makes a person sadistic? etc]

I host beginner astrology classes for free in a Voice Chat where members listen to me speak & ask me questions either through their microphone or they keep their mics muted and type questions to me in the chat.

We have game channels where you can play "casino" [its free] and you can win prizes that I personally purchase/give such as free readings, tarot decks, e-gifts, roles in the server, and so much more.

I also have an entire category with multiple channels dedicated to keeping track of upcoming and current transits. This includes one channel specifically dedicated to upcoming transits with little interpretations/what to expect written by me [&eventually other qualified astrologers], as well as channels dedicated to specific transits where we all actively post news articles/current events that are related to that transit - so its like a little transit news feed. We also have a Moon Phase log that gets updated everytime the moon switches phases & the energy those days hold, AS WELL AS a Moon Ritual channel where we do manifesting/releasing online rituals for the New Moons and Full Moons!

This server is essentially dead because I cannot run it by myself. I calculated a new server's birth chart for more favorable placements & will now be proceeding with all of this content on the new server & could really use some people that are willing to help me keep it running & expand the content/conversations in there. I'd be happy to have anyone of you help me as a moderator or just be part of the community!

Anyway, my question is if any of you Discord, would be interested in joining Discord [i can show you the ropes] & helping me build a close-knit community on there & help me with adding topics such as tarot, occultism and so on. I'm looking for moderators and also just members of the community.

I love that you brought up this point. I think about this with a LOT of modern naming of things. For example the "Kindle" like when you say kindle you don't automatically think about what it used to mean.

Words are spells, are they not????!

Anyway though, I agree and can't say I haven't seen a fair amount of "discord" on there but alas I do think it is a great platform, for now. I'm sure others could remake it better but for now I really appreciate the organization stule and the old chatroom-eque energy.
