I was thinking about how Pluto rules the 8th House and the animal totem associated to Scorpio, the snake.

If we view Pluto as a snake, a creature we're all probably familiar with, we usually have an instant reaction of either/or fear and awe. Definitely, this reaction is one of respect, unless a religion skews your view of the snake in some way of course.

Let's talk about your sexual nature, are you a predator or prey?

If Pluto is ruling that merge and you think of a snake next to a mouse, what comes to mind? Death? Haha it's easy to understand Pluto's nature when we see this kind of imagery.

The first thing you think is "Omg watch out cute little hampster!" When in fact, at the time of the photo, they had been living together for many months. It's really your nature, not your looks that determine compatibility.

Have most of your sexual relationships placed you in control, the other in control or was it balanced?

What planet/s rule your 8th, rest in your 8th, what aspects them and how does that seem to affect you?

I'm curious to see what animal you would attribute to your sexuality and be fun, they could be creatures from myth. After all, Pluto is also related to the Phoenix.

I have been having dreams of my sexual nature and it always shows up as a snake, specifically as a giant anaconda. So here's my animal, share yours too!

Hey look, snakes mating!

Hey there, SSS.

Where is your Venus placed, what does it aspect?

With just Taurus in mind I would think that merging for you would be all about the sensual, lazy, lengthy duration that Taurus seems to embody but I think your Venus would morph that quite a bit!

Ooo pretty picture:

I am a

slinky tom cat.

I'm really playful and impersonal...if I feel like the other is below me, they're like a mouse to me: I want to play with them and bat them around and I assume dominant role. I want to eat them. But if I feel they're above me, I turn into a kitty and I want to roll around in their laps. And I'm restless too...I want to roam around and gallavant about the town and you can join me or not, I'll go any ways...you can't tell a cat what to do, neither can you to me...

H8 cusp in Pisces, Neptune in Capricorn/H5 conjunct H7 ruler Uranus. It's all about the fun and enjoyment to me, nothing heavy that feels committal...

Awe, Red!

I love Tom Cats but black and white, really?

I picture you as some ethereal, quality tom cat. Every kitten and even some dogs cannot help but turn as your tail flicks on past them.

I need a picture for it but I can't find one. I'm all about getting inspiration from photos.

ETA:

My god...the hair

Cool thread.

I immediately think of the unicorn. A little shy and illusive.

My sexual relationship is balanced - a courting dance.

Leo on the 8th house cusp. Sun in the 12th house.

I've just found some articles about the link between the unicorn and the lion, and find them quite interesting.

quote:
When a Unicorn is portrayed along with a lion it Symbolizes the
Union of the feminine (white, lunar) and masculine (Gold, solar)
aspects of our dual nature. This Symbolism also represents the
Alchemical Marriage.

Woh Kero, that definitely fits. Dolphins supposedly having such a great mental capacity and also a creature of the sea. Great job!

That first picture is so amazing, the colors!

Mars trine Venus, trine Saturn, opposite Pluto, trine NN, conjunct MC. I don't have experience but I know I would like balance.

Oh you!

Tell us some of your placements, Capster!

I don't think I said mine. I have nothing in the 8th, Pluto in the 7th and Mars in the 11th.

Pluto is opposite my Sun/Jupiter - Sun rules my 5th. Mars is square my Sun. Pluto squares my Mars at a wide orb.

@12Muddy:

Yours description sounds quite beautiful. I love the photo you put up. Unicorns seem to really capture that spiritual purity somehow.

I find them really interesting too. It's funny you mention them because I was let down yesterday after opening a news article titled "Endangered 'Asian unicorn' spotted in Vietnam's mountains."

It has two horns. *facepalm*

What can I tell you...My 8th house is empty. My Mars (the ruler, if you haven't figure out yet ) is in Taurus. It's also in an Aries duad I have my Moon in the opposite house.

So you always use co-rulers?

I have Pisces on my 8th House Cusp with Saturn and Earth there.
Neptune sextile Saturn and Pluto, conjunct Uranus, square Mercury and N. Node, trine Sun.
(Also trine Venus, but at a wide 9-degree orb)

I would say I'm an alien because I don't care for sex

Yes, I don't see any reason to exclude the traditional rulers. They move faster and seem to hold weight for transits.

Do you only use modern rulers?

I know, lol.
Well technically it's a living thing that has the same characteristics as the kingdom; Animalia, so it must also be an animal
(well at least an Alien Grey does, specifically)

Love the picture, Ms Prism, it's beautiful! Perfect because I do like the slow, build up. Taurus's ruler, Venus is also my moon and chart ruler while Mercury is my sun's. I have Venus in Leo in nice aspect to Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune but with a harsh aspect to Saturn.

I guess this is a good pic:

I love cats because they are so mellow, lazy, cuddly and soft. I even call my Pisces sun cat Lumpy Lion, sometimes

Prism, sometimes I pay attention to traditional rulers but I'm not sure what to think about them.

I was going to say a cat but that one was taken.Although I thought of another that might describe my 8th and sexual nature well.I think I would be a Weasel.

I have an empty 8th ruled by Taurus. My Venus in Cancer rules my 1st,8th and 12th house and sextiles Mars in Taurus and opposes Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn.

I chose the weasel because I can be quite playful and energetic when I want to be.Like the weasel I can be quite shy and elusive.I can be cautious and very suspicious. I don't consider myself to be a sexual predator but Im not exactly prey either.I think like a weasel I could be anxious, temperamental and perhaps a little bit nippy. If I did decide to go on the prowl id would innocently and subtly flirt with my prey without being to obvious.

May I ask for your Jupiter's placement and aspects?
