Perhaps Sun and Mars, as those are the masculine bodies (Yang)

Does the moon really make you more Taurean in Taurus, or just more lunar?

depends how the sun and moon is aspected.
A dominant moon can overhelm the solar placement.

But it doesn't have the same meaning as sun in Taurus.

What is the meaning of sun in taurus and moon in taurus?
The moon thou tends to give more positive qualities thou.
The moon influences the personality more than the sun.

The Sun is like giving you a portrait canvas and frame, everything else being like little buttons you can put on the canvas...

So says my Cancer friend (kinda).

Moon in exalt just makes the moon's better qualities easier to benefit from, it is a beneficial placement for the moon, because the energies of Taurus help to funnel and direct without hindering the best the moon has to offer a natal. It doesn't necessarily make one more Taurean. It may make them more lunar, as Kero pointed out, depending on other lunar aspects/relations in the chart.

A more Taurean person would be one with an exalt Venus (well aspected, even domicile), perhaps their 2nd house, or one with many 2nd house/Taurean placements besides the Venus...

A person who has Moon-Sun and even Sun-Venus or Venus-ASC in conjunction within the sign (Taurus) can be more Taurean.

But, Moon alone doesn't make one more Taurean, I would suspect.

I'm rather Lunarian, and Cancerian, but that has more to do with the entire chart. My Taurus Moon is in the 9th, with Venus in the 4th (Moon's natural house/Cancer house). Sagittarius and Jupiter are naturally housed in the 9th. Most of my planets/placements are in the 4th, and Moon happens to aspect over half of them. It also is exact trine my Capricorn Sun in the 5th though, and opposite my Sun's ruler - Saturn in the 3rd by a wide orb. Cancer rules my 11th.

I don't know what you mean by a man with~ in your OP... lol

But, the stronger Taurean would be one with many potential Taurean aspects/placements in natural and natal order, the stronger will have positive aspects to those. This is not always a Solar or Lunar Taurus, male or not...

(just to make an example elsewhere, Jupiter is in exalt in Cancer, that does not make the person more Crustacean or Centaurian! lol But, it can surely make them more Jupiterean depending on their Sagittarius, its house in their chart, and any placements in Sagittarius's natural house, the 9th, if they are well placed/aspected, angular or otherwise. If these others aspects are involved there is a chance they are also Sagittarius or Cancer strong (maybe even dominant), but it won't make them more Cancer than many other Cancer strong individuals. But, they may be able to show much more of the blessings that Jupiter can bring to them, for having this placement. Making them, naturally, more jovial. (again, depending on favourable/unfavourable aspects to that Jupiter).

^^;

either way, I'm Merc-Jup-Lunar = Sag/Cancer dominant... even with my lovely glompable Taurus Moon, and earth triad (Cap Sun/Virgo Rising) - Taurus is not so highly ranked for dominance. My 2nd house is empty, my Venus while still strong enough, is not nearly as strong as the Moon and Jupiter or Mercury in my chart.

Moon in Taurus = strong Moon
Sun in Taurus = strong Taurus

unless the other factors play in! ^^; ehhh?!

The only thing wrong with your argument is that the moon isn't just a planet but its a luminary.
If the moon did not exist nor would we.

I don't know why in western astrology the moon isn't given more importance. Every person born in the same month is not a clone of one another.
A taurus with moon in gemini with be more comunicative, witty, youthful and mental rather than sensual.

A gemini with taurus moon, will be more sensual, stubborn, and "slowed down" rather than the typical fast paced gemini.

The lunar Taurean has an appreciation for what Taurus represents while the solar Taurean might have an easier time accessing it.

The solar Taurean might be born into a family that has land or a farm, likes to live well, plenty of good food and basic material needs met, money in the bank, practical, aesthetically pleasing items and a rather cozy home (though not as cozy as solar Cancer's) while the lunar Taurean might see others with this and want it for himself but not necessarily has access like the solar Taurean. He will have to find a way to meet his emotional needs which will typify the sign Taurus, comfortable lifestyle and material security and a warm, Venusian/Lunar environment revolving around creature comforts, quilts and the like. I picture the typical country home complete with knitting needles and spinning wheel although this doesn't typify me (I have this placement of the moon) because Neptune has interfered and I crave living on boats and such.

my moon is in taurus.
my moon is conjunct my asc - lunarian
my moon opposes my pluto - plutonian

so, is my taurus moon more plutonian or lunarian?
or, am i more in between?

ps. my moon also opposes my venus/mercury and squares my aqua mars.
yep, i know im full of oppositions and squares..
still, very curious about my moon, if it is more lunarian or a hades moon.

thanks

I can compare that to my Taurean Lunar opposition between Moon and Neptune even though yours is stronger, on the Ascendant/Descendant axis. I consider Neptune to win out over the moon in mine so maybe Pluto wins over the moon in yours, too, since it's an opposition?

Then again, you moon is more personalized than mine. Mine is in house 8, yours is in 1, so maybe, in your chart the moon would win out over Pluto? In my chart, Neptune is in house 2 so it's like it's closer to me than the moon in house 8.

I think the moon in taurus can make a big difference. I once read that a gemini with taurus moon would be more stable.

Also depends on aspects.

For example i am a gemini and my moon, venus, and chiron are in taurus.

My aspects are:

Moon conjunct venus
Moon conjunct chiron
Venus conjunct chiron

I feel more taurean than gemini thats for sure.

I also look venusian.

------------------
Gemini sun 12th
Cancer asc 1st
Taurus moon 11th
Taurus venus 11th
Libra mars 3rd
Gemini mercury 11th

Okay....the guy i'm talking about has Taurus moon quincunx its ruler venus in libra.....nothing in 2nd house, but his 2nd ruler Saturn is trine his moon and sextile mars...Saturn is also conjunct Jupiter (asc ruler).

He feels pretty Taurean to me.....(although I'm not sure if everyone feels that way).
