Well! I've lost over fifteen pounds and I've been able to stick to my new diet (it's a whole diet change, not just temporary for weight loss) but I'm obsessing over weight loss. I originally changed my diet so I'd feel better but I was so stunned by my weight loss that I focus a lot of attention on it. And also I'm getting carried away with my imagination and looking at new clothes online that I'd like to see myself in. I still have a long way to go, but I've also convinced myself that I'd be able to lose over 100 pounds in about two months... I lose about 2 to 3 pounds a day and I lightly work out. I'm not consuming a lot of calories but I read that as long as my diet is balanced and nutritious that it doesn't really matter, so no comments on that, please.

What do I do to curb my fantasies so I make sure not to get discouraged?

Also, I've always liked looking at clothing online, so do you think that will still be okay?

My Neptune opposes my Moon. Does this mean I take my daydreams more personally?

I have four planets in the sixth house and usually obsess over my health anyway. (Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury)

2-3 pounds a day, and 100 pounds in 2 months is unrealistic and unhealthy!!

I used to be really fat (until I was 18), and I lost a lot of weight. I actually developed a really bad eating disorder (which I still have) because I was too obsessed.

When you start dieting, the weight melts off quickly for the first little while, but it slows down later on. I was eating almost nothing and exercising all the time, but I never lost 50 pounds in one month!! The most I ever lost was about 15 in a month, I think..

Anyway, when I was overweight, I'd always look at online stuff I'd daydream about what I'd wear when I was thin. That was my main motivation, actually. Now I'm super thin, and shopping is much more fun!

Yeah! I know you lose a lot at first but then it slows down but the weather is getting nice and I plan on walking a couple miles every weekend and I'm drinking lots of water and I know that boosts your metabolism! Congrats on losing weight! I eat until I feel full and I'm NOT starving myself! I'm eating REALLY healthy and have NO junk food at all in my diet! I'm a vegetarian.

I have to just come out and say this cuz my conscience won't let me go mute on it.

Frankly, no offense but if you try to drop that much weight during that brief of a time-frame, it might...kill you.

The body can't handle that kind of weight lost really fast like that. I think it does something to the heart.

Losing two or three pounds (7,000-10,000 kcals) a day is impossible unless your talking about water weight which goes right back into your body once you replenish your body with fluids.

No, it's not impossible because it's happening to me.

Its a fact that losing weight so easily is because you lose water weight, I agree with Jess.
The only way to know if you're losing weight or water is to have one of these machines that show the percentage of fat in your body, the percentage of water etc,, and weigh yourself regularly with that and check of you do lose fat or water.

Whatever is the case, you should ask a doctor or a dietologist to plan a healthy and safe diet for you.

Well, let me suggest that perhaps the online clothing stores you are visiting could be giving you unrealistic short term expectations?

Just keep in mind the models are professionals and it is their job to basically starve themselves to make the clothes look the way the manufacturers want them to look.

As for losing weight, of all of the stuff I've heard over the years the 1 tip that will work for anyone, safely, is 30 grams of protein for breakfast each and every day, I'm in fairly decent condition but since starting that the 24th I've lost 7 pds.
