Take a placement and the planet that rules the sign is the dispositor. With Mercury in Libra, Venus in Scorpio is its dispositor. Dispositors add a twist to their planets, sort of like adding a layer on top. My Mercury is rather critical and can be quite intuitive and deconstructive, but it's still inclined towards communication, ideas, and synthesis.IP: Logged |

I have Mercury in Libra with Venus in Leo as the depositor so I want to command with my communication but not appear overly rude like a bully.IP: Logged |

If you go to astro.com and select the Pullen/Astrolog, there's a selection for a sign/house dispositor graph -- very handy.IP: Logged |

Love dispositors. I am not realy doing dispositor-chains, but find some valuable additional information in taking the direct dispositor into account. But as I already mentioned somewhere else, it is important in my case, as i have so many planets in the same sign, so it is of interest what the dispositor is doing. It is practically the same as houserulers, just that for planets we call them dispositors. IP: Logged |
