Generally speaking, what signs and signs in specific planets would make someone less likely to pursue a love interest or relationship? For example, Aries influenced charts go after their partners, but what aspects, signs, etc would be more comfortable letting their love interest come to them? What signs appear uninterested out of fear of rejection, insecurity or patience? IP: Logged |

A lot people say that cancers don't go after what they want but that is wrong. They just choose to go sideways to their target.I really do not know about any aspect or placement, though :x ------------------ I am stuck in a daydream IP: Logged |

I find this extremely frustrating as a Scorpio female with Venus in Scorpio, but I also understand and men with these placements make me feel at home and comfortable.IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Pisces in exact sextile to Mars in Cap, and although I haven't always had success in initiating a relationship, I'd hardly consider myself passive. IP: Logged |

I know a Cancer guy with Mars in Cancer, and I completely agree with them progressing towards their love interest in a sideways manner. The guy I know, he's the cousin of my best friend, and he was over at her house because they're all very close. I'd met him before too. So my friend was chatting with me over the internet and then she went upstairs to clean up her room with her other cousin because he was getting into stuff. Then the Cancer guy starts to reply to me from her account after she's left and pose as her, and as my friend he's asking me questions regarding how I feel about him. When I wouldn't fess up to anything, and my best friend was coming back downstairs, he admit he liked me a little and I didn't reply after that ( for reasons, lol ). I think Venus in Virgo and Venus in 4th house would make someone passive, seeing as I have both placements and even though I did like this guy ( the Cancer I was just talking about ), I didn't say anything. I think that makes me REALLY passive, lol. ^^ Hope that was helpful...? xD

libra placements....afraid to rock the boat and cause any kind of disorder. Strong venus in the chart imocapricorn placements....they have a strong need to be accepted if they put themselves out there & will feel embarrassed so they won't bother IP: Logged |

I agree. Libra is aloof and Venus can mean being too passive/indecisive or lazy.Saturn can make one too wary and patient, fated, "whatever will be will be." IP: Logged |

I feel like Cancers are more passive because Libras or people with personal planets in libra, are sociable and a little more confident when it comes to people in generalIP: Logged |

they may be more sociable and more confident in social interactions but ask a libra influenced individual to make a decision, they will be more que sera sera or indecisive to the point of driving you mad....they can't make decisions imo lol. My best friend is a libra and it is maddening lol IP: Logged |

mars in pisces 100% - the partner has to pursue all the time, even once the relationship gets going. other signs (aka libra) may be indecisive, but eventually they take action. mars in pisces won't even muster that, even to go for what they want. I think it comes down to the mars placement IP: Logged |

That could be true. Some Marses are interested in relationships, others not so much, maybe?IP: Logged |

It could have something to do with Mars's house placement along with the sign it's in, aspects it has. Could be a combination of factors.IP: Logged |

I agree with this. It was so frustrating and other thing I found out is that I can easily dominate them in relationships. IP: Logged |

The fear of rejection / insecurity is a Saturn issue. Other than that it looks like there's no definite answer. I disagree with the Mars in Cancer or Pisces thing.. I've seen both in action and they do go after what they want if they really want it. I think it comes down to the level of desire, really. Even the most passive people will make a move if they really want something to happen, or so I think. And Libra & Cancer are cardinal signs, so they're naturally inclined to initiate things. But I agree with I'm so cappy, in my experience, Taurus Mars tends to take ages before making a move, but once they feel safe.. unstoppable. IP: Logged |

Most people have gone through a spell of insecurity about relationships at some point in their life. And one of the problems is in trying to figure out how to act at the moment. Where do you get that confidence from? Some people look to Astrology, Composite Astrology and, Synastry Astrology. If you want to try Synastry Astrology, I would first recommend that you look at your 2014 Transit Aspects. Because Synastry Aspects equal Transit Aspects for the same day and time of any date, present and past and future. The Transit Aspects will show your planets in all major and minor aspect influences. The Transit Aspects will show you many of the aspect combinations you run across when looking for real people. Look at your VE and JP aspects. This is love and happiness. Look at your M and see what type of aspect combinations it is in. This is your emotions. Follow your S, MR &, P these are your sexual energies of (S = ego energy, MR = raw physical energy and, P = passionate energy). Perhaps you may find some interesting relationship influences in the bunch. And this may help build your confidence, because you have some idea of what to look for in your relationships. http://risingpeople.wix.com/synastry-aspecting#!in-the-closet-astro-tools/c1s43 slowpoke IP: Logged |

I think it kind of plays out differently for males vs. females. Anyone who thinks my Capricorn Mars in 11th is passive is wrong. I'm up against a Leo Mars in 2nd House lolAnyway, the whole Cappy is slow thing just doesn't jive with me, and I've yet to see anyone more Cappy than I am. IP: Logged |

Yes very true, about the Libra and Cancer thing, I am both and have mostly initiated things romantically with my partners. IP: Logged |
