I'm aware I'm going to get flack for this, but I just read CafeAstrology's description for Moon transiting one's fifth house, and you know what it said? "You may get a sudden desire to see a movie or play a game." Couldn't I get a sudden desire to see a movie or play a game anyway? That put me off towards really learning about transits or taking them as personally as our natal charts. Especially if a planet is only lasting 2-3 days in a house.IP: Logged |

That's cause the Moon is the fastest moving planet.Looking at transits of the Moon is quite pointless, lol. Although, it can point to your emotional state sometimes. IP: Logged |

Moon represents feelings and desires, fifth house rules movies and games so they must have put that as description as most people can identify with it, lol. IP: Logged |

I pay attention to Moon transits only when Moon is making a strong aspect(conjunction, square, opposition) to my personal planets and angles. Rest of the time I can't really feel the effect. IP: Logged |

Mars transits can be felt quite strongly.Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus - not so much, unless like anonymi said, they're making an aspect to a natal planet. I can almost always tell when tMoon is in Scorpio or Cap though cause I tend to get depressed during those times, ha.. ha. IP: Logged |

Your statement about transits is valid. In fact, that is how many people think of Astrology.Astrology is a method used to put into words the things that seem obvious to many people, like in your case - the impulse to see a movie. We all may have an impulse to do something, Astrology tries to identify how when and where those impulses may take place. It is trying to forewarn you of the possibility. Transits - Your natal chart is like the skin on your body. This is what you and the outer World sees. Your Transits are a very intricate part of your natal chart. And it represents all of the internal parts and systems of your internal astrological self. This would be equivalent to your natural internal body makeup. This is what neither you or the outside World sees. But, it can affect you enough to cause you to behave strangely for others to see. Or it can affect you in a way that causes you to feel really bad or really good and excited. If you follow your transits, this would be like a doctor examining your internal system. The efforts are to help you determine (or to put into words), what makes you tick, the way that you do. Are you interested in transits?
