Topic: Being a Virgo / The IC

For awhile I have thought the Aries sun sign doesn't fit me, that I've felt more like a Virgo instead. However I don't know why this is from my chart. I guess I don't understand all that the IC can do because Virgo is my IC but I thought it would be insignificant to the way I act because my IC doesn't aspect any of my personal planets really.IP: Logged |

I think all the angles would be significant in the way we act. The IC is what makes us comfortable. Maybe acting like a Virgo does make you comfortable.IP: Logged |

I think the IC is your home life. It's always significant because it's an angle. Everyone experiences all four of their angles, no matter if they aspect planets or not. It's what makes you comfortable, but on more of a tangible, physical level. It's how you like to live privately, whereas I think the Moon represents your private emotions and what makes you comfortable emotionally. The Moon is the private SELF, and that can be felt even out in public, though it might not be openly expressed, while the IC is the private LIFE, which is only experienced behind closed doors. So, you're going to feel like a Virgo at home because of your Virgo IC. Your domestic environment is Virgo-like, in some way or another. You might like a lot of order around the house or you might like a lot of time to be productive and quietly work on little projects or tasks. You may also be very helpful toward people you live with. Your home is not really a home without some Virgo dynamic. If you get a birth chart on Cafe Astrology, they'll tell you your North Node in the chart column. They call it the True Node. So, obviously, the South Node will be the opposite sign, at the same degree as the True Node. Astrotheme does, too. ------------------

I wanted to throw out a possible misconception as well. I have my Virgo stellium, my best friend is a Virgo, and I've known plenty of other virgo influenced people.
Virgo has this reputation of being a clean freak, but that's not been my experience.
Virgo to me is like, whatever they are passionate about. So, my best friend for example is into computers/television/gaming. He builds his own computers, has to have the biggest, most bad@ss television that he can get. Virgo is like, if there's a channel that they don't get that they should, it doesn't matter if they'd watch it or not. They're supposed to get that channel so they will make SURE that they get it working. For me, it's cars. If they make a PEEP of any kind I will relentlessly dig and dig until I find the cause. Yet, I could have junk in my back seat. LOL

On astro.com you can select "show Descending Node"
