Topic: Question about the 1st house in Natal chart

My ascendant is in Aquarius (9 degrees) but I noticed that Pisces takes up the rest of my 1st house. Then the 2nd house begins with Aries. Does that mean that although I am an Aquarius Ascendant, Pisces will also have a significant affect in this house? As well as Neptune/Jupiter?IP: Logged |

Hi NYCdodger! Do you have any planets in your 1st house? That's a big difference! I have Scorpio Rising, but half of my 1st house is in Saggitarius too (Venus in here!).  IP: Logged |

Hey! No I don't, my first house is empty. My ascendant (Aquarius) and Pisces takes up the whole house. I'm curious because I know empty houses still mean something. Especially a house as important as the 1st. IP: Logged |

Yes, they mean! I think it's a mix of the two signs in the subject of the house. My friends always say I'm more outgoing than any Scorpio, I think it's because of Saggitarius in the first too. Let's see your case: do you feel more outgoing with people, talking about new technologies or your discoveries? Or do you like to remain in a fantasy world? Or a mix of the two in the same time? I am a late 25'45 degree scorpio riser and I am NOTHING as it describes! I am outgoing, friendly, sociable, all sagittarius traits! I don't feel like a scorpio riser at all and I was once convinced I was a sag rising but i found out i was scorp  . I am also very tall, much like a sag. then again i do have a 9th house stellium and chart ruler is in sag. IP: Logged |

Definitely a mix of both! I love new company and new people, but I need serious detachment every now and then. I am a BIG, HUGE, UNCONTROLLABLE, daydreamer! I can't help it in school. I have to fight to pay attention, but most of the stuff I already know anyway lol. I'm very artistic and creative as well. m.blade, nice to talk with another Scorpio Rising. I have some Scorpio traits, I'm tall too but fat (thanks Venus in the 1st house AND Mars in the 12th house, I'm really lazy!! Hahah)
NYCdodger, that's nice! I identify myself with these things, I have 4 planets in the 12th house, I daydream all day!! . Maybe you can work with artistic things. I do work with computer technical support... I hide all the time!!
