Does Sun's house placement affect who u are attracted to?

I find myself attracted to Scorpios but there's no Scorpio in my chart. My Sun's in the 8th house which is linked to scorpio.

Does it work this way for u?

It could be true for some or most.

In my personal experience I find myself with people who's signs touch my four points, or have personal planets (specifically Moon) who's signs touch my four points.

Asc/Dsc/IC/Mc
But actually I've never been with anyone who had any planets the same sign as my Dsc. Mostly the other three.

My sun is in my eleventh house(with mercury venus and mars in there too) and I LOVE the sign of Aquarius.Maybe it's also because I have an Aqua moon and a Leo rising

Yes. My Sun is in 9th house in Cancer. The man I love happens to be a water sign (Pisces) with Sagittarius rising. He has all the Sagittarius traits my Sun placed in 9th house seeks. ( he loves to travel, to watch and do sports etc). So yes. Matters a lot.

My Sun is in my 11th house. That explains why my friends are the most important part of my life and that Aquarius placements on people attract me a lot. Note also that I love it when my partner is also a good friend and can make me laugh, discuss about everything. I also have Mercury and Venus in Aquarius (12th house).
