I have a Life Path 5 and everything about me (also have moon in 5H and am a Fire Dragon. Was also born in a personal year 5) is number 5 ie not get tied up with job/work/friends/lovers but just keep on exploring life and keep moving, however, my NN suggest that I learn to stay put in my immediate area and explore "close relationships" on a deeper level and that I should try and leave my "itchy feet" and desire for worldly knowledge behind. Seems like two exact opposing natures if you ask me...

Any thoughts?

Revisit the major issues that came up in your life during ages 17 & 18. During this period you would've had both a "Life Path return" as well as a "NN return".

I will speculate, that the 5 lifepath stands for "Constructive Freedom." Thus everytime these two meet (every 18 years) your life will be decluttered/freed-up to allow the pursuit of NN activities.

Another theory of mine is that the NN is the receptive node. So at 18 & 36 fate will free you of constraints to allow more of life's goodness/your wishes to flow in.

I had a miscarriage when i was 17 and it was the beginning of the end of me living in Europe. Moved to US shortly after and 16 hard years later I am now moving back..So it appears I had my NN in Scorpio return then and I have it now again. Wow. Hmmm....interesting..

I should mention that every 9 years you will have a Life Path/Nodal aspect. However the nodes flip-flop.

Birth - lifepath/NN
Age 9 - lifepath/SN
Age 18 - lifepath/NN
Age 27 - lifepath/SN
etc...

I'm also a Life Path 5, and have Sag moon in 5th house. But then Cap sun conjunct Saturn/NN. And yeah I agree it's conflicting lol

Taurus is actually more about staying put in a routine or what's "comfortable" on a surface level, Scorpio is about embracing the unknown and intangible... So maybe you could combine your restless/adventurous energy with exploring spirituality and the deeper elements of human nature? If that makes any sense.. What house is your NN in?

For me, if I could just turn traveling/other Sag themes into a career with plenty of freedom that would be perfect, not sure how realistic it is though lol

Shouldn't this be the other way round? Because when we are born, our soul comes from a past life (SN) and as we grow into this life we become what is our NN.

My two cents.
