Barring my friendships here at LL, and the friendships that I've made at work and in my younger years, I apparently only attract people who have some sort of mental health diagnosis.

I would normally be content to just hang out with my family and few friends, but my life has changed, and I am trying to find other mom friends to hang out with so that my son has other kids to play with.

So far, people are either super-sparkly normal (too much for me), or they're just outright batsh*t and impossible to be around. Of course, the ones who seek out my company are the ones who are batsh*t.

WTF??
Do I have some sort of neon sign above my head that attracts people who seem normal but have major problems, or is it my stupid Saturn placement?

Are there other aspects in a chart that would attract really dysfunctional people outside of friendships made at work, etc.?

The friends I've met through work are reasonably normal people, with quirks like anyone else. The people I meet in my own personal time, who gravitate towards me, are a little too nutty.

I mean...I'm not happy for you that you have to deal with the same brand of extremes that I do, but at least I know I'm not alone.

Yeah, Uranus is active in my chart as well, as are all of the outer planets.
And, of course, good ol' Saturn sitting in my 11th.

But really... I have enough of my own problems, I don't need to be taking on other peoples' problems. It's hard when they have kids my son's age, and he loves playing with them, but...the moms are so hard to deal with!

When you go into a place called "The Path" there are certain energies that it attracts and affects.

Many times it is unbalanced energy, many times others of "The Path."

It is like a walking Full Moon and is not always easy to deal with.

Okay, it's 2-3 degrees away from Neptune.

I still don't know why I would attract people who are completely manic, though. It's not like I repress my oddness. I like it. I just don't like attracting people who seem completely mental all the time, or trying to force myself into a world I don't feel a part of (the world of squeaky clean soccer moms).

Anonymi , I have Pluto opposite Venus/Ceres. That's the only outer planet opposition, and yeah it's...um..."special".

But my husband isn't so much like that. Past relationships, yes definitely. I don't think I've found a super great balance for that particular opposition, though. Maybe that's what attracts the weirdos.

Or it's just my Uranus, and Saturn in 11th.

For the record, I have Pisces Sun conjunct True BML and Pholus (Pholus by a 3 degree orb, but Sun is chart Ruler).
