And isn't especially interested in the opposite sex or having sex but without being gay, just someone who in general isn't especially interested…. OR it could also be someone who was in fact really interested in an extraordinary person, and maybe being together sexually with them also, but that would happen so rarely that they probably never find them what do you think?:P

The first person - asexual and aromantic. The second person - the prince on a white horse/princess in the tower syndrome I might be asexual. I have a Taurus Mars in the 9th house. Beware of this placement, especially if it's the apex of a yod ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

wow, wouldn't have thought at taurus mars? It's in fall there right? But taurus is highly sexual, so is the fire houses? Don't know much about yods either, what is that? IP: Logged |

It's supposedly in detriment. My Mars is apparently focused on spirituality and learning stuff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yod_(astrology) ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I have Uranus conj Sun Sagittarius. Even though I love romance I don't really like conventional relationships. It takes someone really unique/unusual to catch my eye and keep my interest.

"isn't especially interested" would be me. I tend to get into them but I don't pursue them and usually show a lack of interest. Since I was 20 it's been difficult to get into a romantic relationship with me as I just wasn't interested, I had (and have) too many other interests, and they're usually not worth the games involved. IOW, my imagination is geared to other pursuits and romance is a distraction I'm not interested in, though once I was in a serious relationship then my imagination started working toward sex and romance so that I enjoyed making time for it (effectively making me demisexual and demi-romantic). Perhaps had I not been allowed to develop those interests and my independence then romantic relationships would've been much more important to me. I did experiment with sex when I was younger but that was like experimenting with drugs...I did it once or twice and then typically moved on to something else rather than wondering when I'd get to do that again, and after awhile my curiosity was satisfied and I just stopped experimenting. It was curiosity, not particular interest. I think I was at least marginally more interested in sex and romance both until I passed 20, though back then when I had "temporary insanity" in wanting to get pregnant (it had to be my body doing that, it was always accompanied by other emotional and physical symptoms) my desire was to "steal a man's seed" and raise a child on my own. I resisted (heroically at times) and I haven't been plagued by that in years (I'm not sure but I think working with kids a lot helps temper that). All in all I think my 3H Libra (scorpio cusp) stellium had a lot to do with my having more mental pursuits, and perhaps even preferring friends to lovers, while 5H Sag stellium (including Uranus, though also moon, mars, eros, and more) gave me physical interests (surfing, skateboarding, archery, shooting, camping, etc) as well as a desire to not lose my independence (especially as life lessons taught me to fear anyone I was dependent on). 5H Sag can give a casual attitude toward sex, and I do have that, but that doesn't necessarily mean one therefore lives for casual sex...it just means it's not the most important, sacred thing in the world for me as it is so many others so that I can take it or leave it. I have Venus in aqua, relationships are usually confusing and boring to me, unless there is some excitement then I'll go for it. IP: Logged |

I'm the second example you gave. I'm in my mid twenties and have only been interested in one person my whole life.It never got off the ground.I can't be with someone I have no feelings towards, not even for fun. Mercury,Uranus and Saturn are the strongest planets in my chart.I think that's why.Not exactly the touchy feely planets.IP: Logged |

Could you please explain these, Odette. I know there are a lot but I would appreciate your reasoning as I respect you as an Astrologer, a great deal!

I don't date. I've never had a casual relationship or dated casually at all. I'm not into that sort of thing, I see it as a waste of time, unless I am really sure about someone. Sure I've had crushes and all but I've never considered getting close with them/getting serious with them. And we have to have an emotional bond and know one another too before I can consider dating them. I need a deep intimate connection on all levels (spiritual, mental, emotional, physical) with only ONE person, and I'm lucky to have found it and know that it exists.Virgo Sun opposite Saturn Cancer Moon in 12th trine Saturn Cancer Mars in 12th trine Saturn Aquarius Desc Desc ruler (Uranus) in Capricorn in 6th Desc co-ruler (Saturn) in Pisces in 8th 5th house ruler (Jupiter) in Scorpio in 4th trine Saturn Venus in Libra in 3rd Venus square Uranus Venus square Neptune IP: Logged |

I don't believe that this is connected with astrology. All humans seek for duality sooner or later, and all of us fall in love at least once in their life. My answer is that either someone creates a relationship with us or not/ There are no excuses on this one unfortunately...IP: Logged |

true, there is many people out there who likes to be alone, and just doesn't want another in their life… not that they are lonely, don't have friends or anything, maybe even lovers, but not someone to live with.. IP: Logged |
