He's a cancer rising and you're a cancer sun, it usually creates a magnetism, it seems we're bound to find attractive the people whose rising matches our sun.

You have Venus in Taurus.This is what you like in others that reflects back to you. Ben has Sun in Leo in the 2nd house-Taurus affiliated. So you feel a rapport with his nature.
