So I was wondering if each of the signs have a secondary element. For example, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are fire signs, and each of them would have a second element, but it has to be a different element other than fire. So Leo for example could be fire/water, because of their need for recognition and validation for their ego, while Sagittarius is fire/air, because of their higher, philosophical thinking, and Aries is fire/earth because they go act and DO things and do not procrastinate. They do not need recognition or higher thinking, they just DO it. Which is more practical, as earth signs mind their business and do their own thing to get the job or any task done. This isn't really a theory, as it does not even have a complete pattern within it to make it seem legit, I just thought of it randomly, so I thought it would be fun to see what are other people's opinion on it. Here are the ones I think fit. Some of them were the result of process and elimination:
Aries - Fire - Earth Leo - Fire - Water Sagittarius - Fire - Air Taurus - Earth - Water Virgo - Earth - Air Capricorn - Earth - Fire Gemini - Air - Earth Libra - Air - Water Aquarius - Air - Fire Cancer - Water - Earth Scorpio - Water - Fire Pisces - Water - Air So what would be your list and why? Interesting theory. I think almost everything you listed seem very fit. But I don't know much about the air signs.IP: Logged |

Thank you Yeah, the air signs were the hardest for me to decide. I was sure on Libra, but Gemini and Aquarius were the hard part. Aquarius is more firey than Gemini in my opinion, so I gave Aquarius fire, and then just used process and elimination with Gemini and gave it earth. Gemini can be earthy as they're really logical. They are not direct like a fire sign, or emotional like a water sign. Gemini can also be pretty practical as well as intellectual, unlike Aquarius which has their head really in the clouds with breakthrough ideas, or Libra which needs for everything to be ideally perfect and balanced. Although, Libra can be pretty practical though as well, as it is very open and sees many different viewpoints and takes them into account, practical or intellectual. As taking all the information into account and drawing a conclusion on it seems practical to me, at least. (I may be biased with my Libra Mercury saying that, though, lol) Opposed to assuming something is correct because the majority agree, or because it vibes well with others comfort zone, etc. And Gemini has super changeable emotions, so maybe Libra could be the earth one, and Gemini the water one? I think I prefer the other way around with Libra being the water one and Gemini the earth one. As that seems to make more sense to me. IP: Logged |

I think Aquarius would be more Earth because they don't show emotions like Earth. Like it's really hard for them to open up. Libra could be fire though, as they can be passionate about the arts or when it comes to promoting justice and debating. Idk about Gemini. They can brle water because they're like a 'go with the flow' kind of sign? Not so sure. LOL.IP: Logged |

I didn't think about that with Aquarius. Interesting.Yeah, I thought about that with Libra. And "going with the flow" for Gemini being water was a pretty cool connection. Seems like the air signs can be all three of them in significant ways. Well, they are air signs IP: Logged |

Air signs are confusing. But hey, it's just a theory.IP: Logged |
