Chiron is usually associated with pain, but I was wondering.. Is the house Chiron is in something you're not too proud of? How about the aspects?I have Chiron in the 4th conj IC and I have always been ashamed of my family, my roots, even my country. It's conj Venus and I also felt like I am or should be ashamed of being attractive. How about you?

I can't really say I'm ashamed of the predicaments or ailments that my Chiron placement gives off, just more-so upset that it happens so often. I have Chiron in my 3rd and I often feel verbally misunderstood by others and I feel a lot of the time people take what I say and turn it around into something that it isn't, or easily misconstrued/misinterpret what I say, and it's super aggravating. I feel that people don't often listen to me either, or ignore things I say that I feel might benefit or help a situation/person, and I get ignored. Sometimes I end up saying too little to people though, and I'm often verbally shy and don't say too much around people I don't know too well. It probably doesn't help the fact that Chiron is 5 degrees away from my Mercury (lol, it's like, really...), and they are pretty much opposite my Saturn. :/Hmmm, my mom has a Chiron/Venus conjunction too, I wonder if she has ever felt that way. ------------------ Leo sun Cancer ascendant Gemini moon IP: Logged |

Yellowelevator, does that make you feel self conscious about your communication manners/skills?Perhaps "shame" might be too strong of a situation for some. Say, an inferiority complex regarding what Chiron touches. Forgot to say my Chiron is in Taurus and though I was never actually poor, I did use to feel inferior because we didn't have expensive things/clothes, didn't travel etc like the cooler kids did. The term "white trash" usually comes to mind thinking back. It's how I felt people saw me and my folks. I don't feel that way anymore, probably because in the meantime I gained access to what was denied to me growing up.

I have Chiron in the 2nd House and I can kinda relate with feeling "ashamed" in a way.I was spoiled my whole life, and I was always ashamed with what I had because my friends didn't have as much as me in terms of material wise. And now that will come back to haunt me when I grow up, as I will be used to it, but I will need to do everything on my own. So Chiron will indeed be my "pain" with the 2nd House and Libra themes (Chiron in Libra - relationships). IP: Logged |

I have it exactly conjunct Venus (in Libra! How terrible is that?), and it also conjuncts Sun and squares Moon. It even contra-parallels my Sun, lmao. So it's like a double Sun/Chiron aspect. IP: Logged |

It's in my 5th house, which is apparently all about creativity, love and children.I think those things figure big in my life. I don't have kids but I love them and am a big kid myself. I feel quite happy about those aspects really, although they oppose all my planets in the 11th house. IP: Logged |

I have Chiron in sixth conjunct descendant. I am ashamed of other people and how they act. That's why I pretend to be an alien species, at least psychologically, and convince myself I am above all that.IP: Logged |

I have Chiron in the 5th conjunct Mars and opposing Saturn. Since it's all about creativity and all, I tend to take negative criticisms from my friends or accquaintances personally if they are about my talents. They scar me for life. Just like the one time my friend told me his mom didn't like my singing. It actually scarred me and now I'm so afraid to perform in front of people. I know it's just one person who said that, but it really affected me. I guess now I'm kind of "ashamed" of everything I create. I feel awkward showing my creations to my friends especially songs and artworks.IP: Logged |

Yes, I think I do often feel self-conscious when I speak. I'm constantly watching what I say because I'm always afraid of sounding insensitive or rude, so a lot of time when I feel hurt by someone I won't be honest with how I feel. I tend to play dumb too like others said. I'm sorry you had to grow up feeling that way, I imagine it must have felt tough at times. Happy to hear that has changed though! IP: Logged |

My chiron is in the 12th house where shame belongs. I'm not quite ashamed of my secrets, but that's kind of an oxymoron. Some secrets I keep until things change and I can be MORE proud of it then. Like I was engaged. Nothing to be ashamed of, but I didn't say much about it because I felt like I needed more proof that it was happening. No acceptable plans were being made. He wanted me to go visit his family without him- cultural differences. I'm not going to a country clean across the globe fighting gorilla war alone. Uhhh... No. Of course the wedding didn't happen, so in hind sight, nothing to tell. ETA: Chiron oppose Uranus. Ashamed of failures, I guess? If that's the aspect meaning, that is true!!------------------ Leo ♌️ Sun, Venus (2nd House) Scorpio ♏ Moon,Mars,Saturn (5th House) Cancer ♋ Rising Svātī Nakshatra IP: Logged |
