Topic: Similarity of aspects and house placements between siblings

I noticed my sister and I share many similar aspects and house placements that baffled me. I have Jupiter Retrogade in 1st house quincunx Uranus.
She has Jupiter Retrogade in 1st house square Uranus. I have Moon opposite North Node.
She has Moon conjunct North Node. We both have Venus conjunct Pluto. We both have Mars in 11th house trine Sun in 7th house. We both have Sun and Mercury in 7th house. I have Moon square Sun.
She has Moon square Mars. Our voices are the same that even our mother can't tell who is talking. We're very much alike personality wise but also each other opposite when being together. In fact, we've undergone something like swap personalities from childhood to adulthood: now I display her childhood characteristics and she mine. Is it very common between family members? Does your chart similar to that of your siblings?

uhh..
My sister and I have completely different charts.
We sound just alike, laugh just a like, pretty much have the same base personality but with HUGE differences that make us each individuals. I think a lot of it has to do with genetics and how siblings were raised.
We have always been very close so naturally we find the same things funny - yet we still have our own humor -
Simple things like that is a lot on environmental and genetic raising I wouldnt say its too common for siblings to share the same placements and aspects.

I think everyone in a family will have some similar placements/aspects. Atleast from my experience.My grandfather, and all he's brothers(he's got like 6) all have either sun or moon in Taurus, he's son and he's brothers son both have Taurus sun, ive got Taurus moon and asc.
Now for my siblings; i only have half siblings tough so i guess it wont be as many similarities as there would have been other wise but me and my oldest brother both have mars conjunct ascendant, and my other brother has mars conjunct sun.

@fairaqua: your relationship with your sister sounds very much like mine. I guess some siblings share aspects and house placements because they are brought up in the same environment by the same parents. I used to tease my mother how did she manage to give birth to two of the same  . The similarities still make me scratch my head.@Peterpan: yes I read the Sun/ASC/Moon signs resemblances in family members. In my case my father is Taurus, which is my ASC. My GEM friend share the same Sun sign with her mother and grandmother.

Me and my sister both have Mercury sextile Ceres, Venus conjunct Saturn and Mars trine Saturn. She has Mars conjunct NN and Saturn conjunct Ceres, I have Mars trine NN and Saturn square Ceres. Her Venus is conjunct Uranus, my Venus is in Aquarius.------------------

Me and Sag brother have both Scorpio Mars.His Mercury is conjunct Neptune, Saturn and Uranus and opposite Jupiter
My Mercury is opposite & square those same planets
We also both have Venus sextile Mars and Sun in 7th. I also have a Gemini brother, we share Venus sextile Mars and Mercury opposite Uranus. IP: Logged |

Yeah there definitely seems to be a theme.. me and my sister both have;; Fire Ascendants
Mutuable Suns in the 8th House
Mars conjunct Jupiter in Air Signs
Venus trine Pluto in Water Signs
Venus near or on 8th House Cusp

My brother and I actually both have Cancer Suns, Leo Moons, and Taurus ASCs. We're not as much alike as you would think, partly because some of our house cusps are different (he has intercepted signs). I have a sister too and we're actually more alike even though our charts are not as similar. Interestingly, all three of us have both our Suns and our Mercuries in the 3rd.IP: Logged |
