Hi

How would you look at two yods in a birth chart? Both pointing their finger at different houses. Are those indeed the life tasks/missions?

Thanks

Twirl, are you able to put up the chart so we can see? Yes, a Yod in a chart means a special life purpose/focus of some kind.

Yes.

I have two Yods as well.

Three if we include the South Node.

Tgem, I can't put up the chart since I didn't ask permission to share it online. I find the yods most intriguing though & would love to know how to read them.

@mercurian: how does this affect you? Do you notice it, did knowing this gave you more understanding?

I mean, I guess I notice them.

I don't believe Yods are destined missions that are pointing you into a certain direction ("Finger of God"), but rather an ability or focus on something that makes you go into a certain direction.

One of my Yods involves Uranus and Pluto, with the Moon in Gemini in the 11th House being the apex planet. The other Yod is involving my Leo Ascendant and Mercury, with Saturn in Pisces in the 8th House being the apex planet.

Moon and Saturn are two completely different planets. Pretty much like opposites, lol. So which direction do I head into? Well, both I would presume, because they're both my supposed focus.

The third Yod I have (if we include the South Node) is involving the South Node and Moon, while Pluto in Scorpio in the 4th House is the apex planet.

I see how the Moon Yod is important to me because I try to learn as much possible (Gemini), and try to teach to my friends and people that are interested (Gemini 11th House). I have a need to learn (Moon in Gemini) and go very deep (Scorpio Pluto) within all subjects (Gemini).
I have a need (Moon) to progress and improve (Uranus in the 6th House) the world with Science (Uranus) and to reach universal peace and enlightenment.
Universal meaning to become friends with all the alien species and work together to progress and help each other and other less developed alien planets. (11th House).

Since I have no supporting evidence that souls exist, I do not believe that they exist; for now at least. I believe what is said above to be the highest ideal a species can reach. Universal peace and enlightenment of everything. Because once you learn everything, the only thing there is to do next is help others obtain it.

Yods are difficult to interpret as you must consider both the signs and the house (I'm actually not very good at it at all.)
Now, I am of the opinion that it is not a true Yod (planets speaking) unless the apex planet is the fastest moving planet and the two sextile planets being the slower moving planets. For instance I would consider a Yod with neptune sextile Pluto with a moon at the apex being a bonefide Yod rather than a venus sextile jupiter with a Saturn at the apex. Do you see what I mean? There are differing views on this out there, but this is what I stick with personally.

I, personally, am a firm believer that we are spiritual beings/souls having an earth/physical experience so I am of the belief that yes, the apex of the Yod points to a very highly focused aspect in one's chart that acts as a life lesson/mission/focus for better or worse. The house/sign of the apex planet will be played out over the course of the person's lifetime..as the Yod is such a focused energy.
