This is a post to help people visualize oppositions.Let's break it down into components. The components of an opposition are... Two planets, Two houses, and Two signs. One planet, in one house, in one sign is at odds with another planet in another house in another sign directly opposite to it. Illustration. Moon in Cancer in the Fourth house is opposed to Mars in Capricorn in the Tenth house. Moon in Cancer In the Fourth is an instinctual , habitual, intuitive, or feeling to nurture in the home, by the home, or the family in a maternal fashion. This is at odds with a drive, will, ambition towards a career, organizing to achieve career status, moving towards, as in driving a chariot towards destiny and career. This is what mars in Capricorn in the tenth. So all three components of one side of the opposition will pull against all three components of the other side of the opposition. The native will feel like he is being pulled by two dominant aspects of his life. This is where stress will come from. Of course, there are other aspects!!!!!!!! It's never this clear cut...but I'm just making sure that people realize not to take into consideration only the planets...it takes a house a sign too to create an opposition. My Saturn in Scorpio in the sixth is opposed to my NN in taurus in the 12th......
I go to the middle! How! WEll I do intense amount of work behind closed doors and make it a spiritual practice. I make my exercise spiritual. I transcend my ego. I Don't work out to look better....I work out to make contact with the other planets...Ironically...this has tremendously opened up streams of energy. I ran 8 miles on Saturday while meditating. I transcended what I did when I was a healthy young fit teenager...TIme said you won't be able to run as fast...so I prayed and the spirit gave me the strength to run longer than I ever have...and I ran longer than I imagined I ever could when I was younger and had youth on my side. Find your balance and transcend! That's the moon in libra! Bless everyone! IP: Logged |

How do you meditate while jogging? It is a mental trance or can you explain how it feels like?IP: Logged |

I start very slow...so that I don't feel any sort of discomfort. I maintain this slow pace for 15-20 minutes..then I pick up gently so...this way I am thinking and meditating and contemplating without being distracted...towards the end - after an hour...I hit a critical point and reach a level of clarity that I can only liken to nirvana. Also...a critical point is exercising in nature rather than in a gym. It is almost impossible to fall into a trance in a gym. There are just to many people around...the critical point is chosing to ride your bike through a forest preserve rather than trying to improve your bench press...you see one is ego driven..and one is transcendental...Benching isn't always ego driven though, but for the most part is. And you're absolutely sure it's different than just getting a second or third wind? So a physical manifestation? I know from my own experience that sometimes during physical exercise, a mental clarity is experienced where 'reality' seems perfect and I'm just the bird watching it but didn't know it could help bypass physical limitations. Does it usually take an hour each time or do you find it faster, the more familiar you are with accessing the contemplation/meditative state? IP: Logged |

I've always found exercise like meditation because your body is engaged in the act of physical movement, there is less energy for the mind to spend on the endless chatter that is usually there, so for me it has always been very effective meditation in order to quiet my mind.IP: Logged |

I think that is awesome you approach running and exercise in that manner. I am too competitive for that though- always have to get my fastest mile times in!I do yoga though, so at least I have some sort of spiritual connection? IP: Logged |

Cool. I find it easier to reach that state when I知 dancing (alone in my own room). I just totally lose myself in it but I知 also aware of the way my body moves at the same time. IP: Logged |

Yoga certainly is a spiritual interface as much as anything can be depending on the person. My tendency was for races to be unhealthy in terms of my spirituality...but someone may actually race and run fast and be spiritual. It all just depends on how your subjective aspects interface the objective outer world. Kudos!

How about this "double" opposition then: I have a pisces moon in 10th house opposite virgo Mars in 4th house! How World you describe this, i feel Like its a double complex because pisces moon in 10th is contradicting in itself as virgo Mars in 4th
