Now that I ve finally found out I'm a Leo ascendant, and I certainly am, I just feel like it, I m still wondering why I m not attracted to my 7th house: Acquarius. I find them sexy and exciting, really really exciting, but I m romantically drawn to water, especially pisces (my 7th house starts at the end of aqua and covers almost all of pisces). Anyone else who is rather attracted to the sign after their 7th house? Anyone attracted to the sign of the house the 7th house ruler is in (4th house= cancer, for me)?IP: Logged |

Yep Never. They're fun to talk to but I've never been attracted. My mom is Aries though (also Libra asc like me) so maybe there was some kind of subconscious block like, "ewwww no!" lol IP: Logged |

^ lol.I'm in the same boat. Sag DSC. No Sag ever that's significantly stood out IRL. Some Sag placements I find attractive, like Mars, especially if it's close to my DSC or in my 8H (Sag rules both DSC & 8H). I like Sag Moons as well but I think it's kinda one-sided, lmao. I enjoy some Sag Suns but mainly if they're mature and exhibit the optimistic/faithful energies and not the righteous/cynical traits. Same goes for Mercury. Venus in Sag is lost on me most of the time. Now, the ruler of my DSC is probably key. It's in Libra in the 6H conjunct Venus. I like Venusian energy a lottt. Earth energy as well. Well technically I'm more often attracted to cold and broody types as represented by my Mars. But what I truly like and value, is shown by my Venus combined with the DSC/DSC ruler. Thing is, I can't tell if I like it because Venus is involved or if it's because it's the DSC ruler. Since they're conjunct I can't separate the two. Oh, well. IP: Logged |

The 7th house indicates the nature of the partnerships that you have; More especially the planet that rules it.My 7th house is in Scorpio;the ruler being Pluto. So the nature of my relationships are supposed to be very intimate and intense(in essence). That is true. When I look at my associations and close partnerships,I see that there are a lot of Pluto aspects that the people I am closest to have. Either my Pluto aspects their personal natal planets(Sun,Moon,Mercury,Venus,Mars)or they have Pluto aspects to personal planets already in their natal chart. I am definitely drawn to my 7th house ruler. IP: Logged |

Yup here! My dsc is sagg and I mean I have found some attractive but nothing too extreme and plus I feel like we don't really connect and they just aren't my "type" I guess. I love them as friends but that's it. I find it odd since I have venus , Mars and Jupiter there BUT what I think affects it for me is my Saturn squaring that whole stellium so maybe that's why .... Could also be because of my Scorpio stellium (sun , mercury , moon) , I tend to like more intense , serious , stable guys/realtionships. One thing I also noticed is that I'm definitely attracted and I attract my secondary 7th house (9th ) which for me is aqua and I tend to really be attracted to people with some placements there as well.IP: Logged |

My secondary DC is Gemini and i m not interested in Gemini at all. But i have my venus and merc exactly at my bfd s 4th house Cup which is his secondary house (DC moon) . I Wonder if this is why he s attracted to me because i have no cancer placements? also i have Lots of saggie placements and he has jupiter in direct opposition to his moon but i Don t know if that counts because i ve heard jupiter just strengthens the energy of a planet which would maybe just make him even more drawn to moon placements IP: Logged |

My DSC is Scorpio and 7th house is shared by Scorpio and Sagittarius. I very seldom get along with Scorpio suns, but I don't mind Scorp Venus. I can get along platonically with Sagittarius, but in terms of a relationship, it'll never work. I'm attracted to certain traits Scorp has; intensity, passion, just general darkness.. But that's about it. Not attracted to ALL of a Scorpio, only select traits. IP: Logged |

Aries dsc, I love Aries moon men, but the Aries sun guys always seem abit annoying and too pushy. For some reason I like scorpios, and usually go for them instead, maybe because the old ruler of Scorpio is mars. IP: Logged |

Pisces DSC. Some of the qualities of this signs appeal to me a lot but I'm not sure how I'd feel about actual planets there. Perhaps it would be too vanilla or too wishy washy.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

quote: Also 7th house is the opposite of your ascendant, the first house of self. It's your void, and it's the dark side of the moon to the shiny side that everyone sees. And it's only accessible through other people. 1st house is hey that me. 7th house is like oh here's the side of me that a loved one brings out.
Not in my case. Sun conjunct Neptune ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I can't stand aries sun, they are so rough emotionally and physically. I prefer not being stepped on by a goat as he pushes his way to the top. They literally ram you if your taking the time to stop and think about life and what your doing, where your going and how your going to get there...they don't think thought is necessary most the time, it seems to be a waste of time to them.I do like aries AC though, they appear to have the qualities that fit my needs, which attracts me, but deep down they are something different(hopefully) and they can step back and ponder life a little easier unless they have some other issues or afflictions to their sun/moon signs. Aries Sun or Moon is a no-no! I'm not sure about an aries Mars but aries Venus? No! It's like taking all the refinement out of Venus....it's not attractive to me!

To me the 7th house is only part of a person's entire attraction pattern, and so only tells part of the story of who we're attracted to. Of course there's the 5th, 7th, and 8th houses, and the sign and houses placement of the rulers of these houses. Natal aspects to these rulers tell a lot about our tendencies in these areas too. Then there's the Vertex Axis, Certain asteroids (my favorites are Eros, Psyche, and Juno), secondary houses (having a Taurus Dsc and being attracted to the placements of your 2nd house), and Venus and Mars to take into account. Each person actually has a wide range of ways the can connect to others in a romantic sense. When a certain theme repeats itself throughout the attraction pattern it becomes more pronounced.
