This has been on my mind for a while but I have not been able to decide for myself:

When a luminary and/or planet coincide with a particular deacon in a sign, is it equivalent to that luminary and/or planet forming a conjunction with the ruling planet of that deacon? Likewise, if the planets/luminaries are in a certain house, is that a similar concept?

For instance, if your Moon is in 5 degree Aries, is that the same as the Moon conjunct with Mars? But if that Aries was in the 5th House, would the Moon did be considered to be conjunct with the Sun?

There is always something new to learn with Astrology.
