They usually go for the feminine vulnerable dependable women.They get attracted to the vulnerable dependable types but at the same time i usually have seen them get bored with the very same type that they usually go for.I feel like its more of an easy attraction to them that usually dont last, while to the "stronger" types i have seen them have more of an in your face attraction mixed in with some intimidation.I have seen how `weird/awkward/almost facinated` they get when they are around a woman thats more of an "in your face intense" type, my brother included (scorpio sun and venus) its like they get attracted but also intimidated by them.

I don't think Venus factors in too much on whether a person is intimidated easily or not. Wouldn't you look toward the Sun or Mars placements for that?

no not really bc for the guys the venus often shows what he finds attractive with a woman and when a woman have some of the "traits" he finds attractive in a woman she can trigger strong feelings in him and maybe some "intimidation". I see the same thing with a woman with mars in scorpio if she sees a guy that embodies some of the qualities she finds attractive in a male (strong powerful a mysterious aura type of a guy) this "shyness" to them starts surfacing but also a very intense focus. Its like the men that attracts them also intimidates them at the same time.I have two female friends with their mars in scorpio both of them also have their mars conjunction pluto and one of them also have venus in scorpio and both of them have acted like this around men they are attracted to, its like they are attracted to guys that intimidates them in a way.

I can see where you're coming from but I'll still have to disagree. A person shouldn't be intimidated if someone has the qualities they like. The Venus tells you your relationship style and attractions and that's it. To be intimidated spells to me some deficiency in the ego (Sun) or the person's warrior spirit (Mars).

It's more likely that this Venus in Scorpio person is attracted to strong personalities and they may have an introverted or shy personality because of their Sun or Mars placements. This would make them shy away. It wouldn't make much sense to attribute intimidation to the Venus in Scorpio placement because Venus has nothing to do with an ego expression and nothing about a Scorpio placement screams scaring easy. I would check their other placements.

Granted, my experience with Venus in Scorpio is limited to my best buddy who has this placement. He's never mentioned being intimidated. He is shy however because his Sun and Mars are in Virgo.

Also look at the house placement of Venus. If they do get attracted to strong types of women, their Venus is probably in a masculine house. The sign Venus is in probably shows what they are easily attracted to. If it's a feminine sign in a masculine house, they will have conflicting ideas of what they find attractive.

For example, I have Venus in Virgo in the 3rd house. I like guys who are confident, social, fun-loving, and direct. But I also seem to get attracted to guys whose efforts go unnoticed, down-to-earth guys, and guys who have a vulnerable interior.

And Sun-Venus or Mars-Venus aspects could give clues to this as well.

This is the second thread on Scorpio Venus that I really don't agree with at all. If anything Scorpio Venus is the most attracted to strong women - out of the entire zodiac lol

Yeah KoHo, well conveyed. IDK where all the "scary/intimidating" lingo comes into play with Scorpio placements. Ppl with this energy aren't "impenetrable" lol We "feel" things, undoubtedly. But when it pertains to relational matters/attraction [Venus] I'm not agreeing with that shy angle; you HAVE to incorporate other aspects.

Im a scorpio sun/mars in cancer trine scorpio pluto/ and moon square pluto/pluto conjunct mc i have strong scorpio/pluto in my chart and i love a strong independant woman i dont find a quiet shy girl who cant stand up for herself attractive

I have cancer moon and ascendant, libra merc sun and mars and leo venus.My moon is in the 12th house,venus in 2nd house, sun and merc in the 3rd house and mars in the 4th house.This have been my experience with them that they have gone for the vulnerable dependable types but shies away from stronger types even if they are attracted.And i find this so weird bc i have always read they like strong willed intense dynamic women but yet i have seen them end up with women that are easily controlled, slightly naive types.Usually a feminin sort of girl, that is devoted, clingy and lets him have the "power"

Yeah that might be it. Its guys that are in their late 20`s and early 20`s.Three with scorpio suns and two of them have cancer moon and one with leo moon ( the one with the leo moon is my brother) and a capricorn with a virgo moon. The cancer moon men also have their pluto conjunction venus and it also trines their moon. But Capricorn/Pisces and Scorpio are easy/smooth connections so the vibe between us isn't competitive. It's friendly (despite my Aries Sun).

Also, there are higher and lower vibrations to every sign.. Scorpio has three symbols: the grey lizard, the scorpion and the eagle.. Maybe I've just met more eagles who are secure enough to appreciate inner strength in other people - rather than be intimidated by it.

Yeah maybe i think these men i am talking about are a bit insecure with their "strenght" and manliness and feels intimidated by others (esp women) that has a strong personality. Actually all of them are insecure but you would have never guessed it, they are very good at hiding their insecurity.

I have to ditto everyone else. Venus in Scorpio is going to go for a strong woman, especially if he's relatively secure in himself. I will say that this placement, though, is often unconsciously into very powerful women so that they can act out some kind of "power struggle." I think a more insecure/immature Scorpio Venus guy will be into a strong woman yet also resent her for somehow dominating him. He'll feel like she's taking his power away from him, in some way, and then things might get nasty. But, a more secure, mature guy with this placement will just be fully turned on by her while also remaining certain in his own power.
