Topic: Need advice- Am I too leo or too virgo?

I'm a Virgo sun in 5th house.
My virgo mercury in 5th house.
My libra mars in 5 th house.And my 5th house is Virgo. (Asc. gemini) BUT I have Leo venus in 4th house which is ruled by Leo. Tho analytical, I don't feel virgo at all I'm more like lionish-cancerish-weirdo. seems legit? IP: Logged |

Having the Sun in the 5th suggests that the personality(Sun) expresses itself in terms of creative expression, recreational activity, romance and childlike activities(5th) etc.All these activities are all associated with Leo and you are more likely to find many Leo Sun sign folks around you or enjoying these activities- and related ones. But does that make you a "Leo". No. The best way to ascertain this is to examine the "how" you do the things associated with the 5th house area of life. 1.Are you concerned with order,precision and sequence? 2.Do you respect schedule and due preparation? 3.Do you find it hard not to self-critique or aim for constant improvement? 4.Are you focused more on quality of delivery than quantity? 5.Does applause and external approval matter less to you than the internal feeling of a job well done? If Xoli has his Sun in Virgo in 5th house. He enjoys recreational activities immensely and feels most alive(Sun) when involved in such.He may even have many Leo Sun sign friends because of his association with these activities. But since his 5th house cusp is Virgo, whatever recreational activities he embarks in have an air of serious commitment therein(Virgo). He wants to prove himself worthy, prove himself competent and can be very self-critical if he under performs(Virgo traits). At times,he finds it very hard to just "relax" and have a good time.So in sports,he may exhibit all these traits and feel most himself in and around such an atmosphere. I'm not very virgo practical or don't mind if the house in a mess. I'm not conservative with the money I spend or give out to others. I'm rather generous and I like getting pampered waaay too much. And if some stuff goes unexpected, you can watch me as the number one drama queen but for a short time.I'm very ambitious and if I can't succeed something I feel very much defeated and as if I'm humiliated. But I have a strong mind (I do analysis of all kinds such as therapy, recruitment, movies, literature - man I gotta choose one as a job) and I hear this from others as well.
I was actually asking what would you think just by looking at the data I presented. I already don't feel belonged to any sign. But since you are asking leo resonates better.

yeah what he ^ said. You'll basically be surrounded by Leos and love to do Leo things, but you'll be super Virgo still. You'll just appreciate Leo more than most Virgos (which is a positive in my book!)  IP: Logged |

The same principle applies to mercury. 5th house cusp in Virgo suggests that the matters of the 5th house are more than just fun and games. They become serious. With Mercury there,effectively embarking in Mercury activities is key.You may enjoy either organizing,planning,communicating or traveling(mercury).
But all of these activities must be done in an orderly, specific, practical,sensible fashion(Virgo).
