Months ago I had a sort of knowing moment, and since then have seen more and more evidence (which is both funny and fascinating) that this transit of Pluto through the air sign of Aquarius is going to touch on language and communication.

HOW we communicate.
WHAT we say when we do.

This has already been a theme ever since the globalization of the internet, but it can also be seen in smaller sections. And so far, true to the sister sign combo with Leo, it's proving very foundationally challenging on an individual level.

It is hard and unsettling to have to learn a new language out of sudden reason (which often, that is how Pluto shows up; not a lot of us are always looking for the signs that lead up to a Plutonic change, they usually seem to just appear). It's also incredible to witness the growth of people who FINALLY are able to have languages and ways to communicate what they're feeling, what needs to be said, etc. Language is a bridge! And there are many, many forms of it. Sometimes, the bridge will burn, and need rebuilt in other, new ways.

How we talk about things-- or better yet, how we talk about things we DON'T societally like to talk about (ie: taboo subjects, hello Pluto) are becoming more and more relevant. People have to come to terms with certain labels, outdated language and terms changing, etc.

And yes, the pushback is strong, as any Pluto revelation can be in the early stages. I think we are seeing a taste of it (since Pluto is going to retrograde back into Capricorn one last time as well), so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Pluto is in my 9th house! I LIKE Pluto here.

The late degrees of Capricorn are also my 9th house. I left the country for the first time. (not counting Canada lol sorry)

I've been having students where their first language is not English. In my class we have a student who mostly knows Spanish, and another one Japanize. They are both precious.

Love this! And adorably literal with it all being in the 9th house too.

Yes, I certainly have observed that in internet communities. The need to be more eloquent and tactful when speaking as pluto is in the air sign of aquarius, which we can consider a jupiter or uranus to be ruler of. Also I have observed an extreme detachment in people to not conform to any culture or religion?? I wonder if that would be the air energy too as they love to rebel and form their own idea of society.

I’ve never thought of it as rebellious, because neither country I’ve lived in, is Christian, and there are different religions out there. People can try to force me to live by their beliefs, but they won’t be successful.

Oh, I haven't ever heard of Jupiter ruling over Aquarius-- Saturn and Uranus are the rulers I'm aware of, but this is interesting to consider.

And yes I've seen it too- there is a very strong pull to feel out the 'individual' within the collective, finding themselves and how they stand apart for themselves too. Very Aquarian! I think it helps too having Uranus in a very self-valued sign right now.

It feels like a very strong desire to be seen and heard for your own mental merits rather than what we may have been taught or told.

Ahhh to live in a non-christian-ified country! It's always refreshing to hear folks are willing to live outside of the necessary indoctrination that those dominant religious countries have. <3

Well, one political party is trying really hard to make us a Christian-only country. I'm in the US. A lot of my dad's family are religious. My mum's family were/are, too (older members), but don't go to church. My mum wouldn't go to church regularly, because she said they didn't practice what they preach. Too many people thinking they can be awful, and then have it erased on Sunday, or in confession if they're catholic.

I like your opening post, and agree with it, by the way. I forgot to say so.
