I have this aspect: it means your heart and emotions are in line with your life lessons and destiny. In other words, you are one to follow your heart. IMO it's a great aspect

My NN and Moon are 9.03 degrees apart--but Astro.com does not consider it conjunct (Nor my Part of Fortune with NN, which is 7 degrees apart)...Anyone know if NN needs tighter aspects?

Also, it counts my NN/PoF as conjunct, but not my Pluto which is at the same degree as my NN (making my NN conjunct Pluto).

Any insight??

My girlfriend has this also, and I did a lot of research on it... but if we were to exclude POF, its generally harsh placement to talk about. I guess this is why people are reluctant to offer insights on it..

But my interpretation is that..
Pluto represents 3 stages -> Destruction, transformation, rebirth (into more powerful being). Pluto also represents obsession created by destruction in early stage

North node is also a obsessive planet.
Technically, North Node is not a physical planet, so I think you can only relate to it to certain degrees, but I see people often relating to 2nd house as materlialistic placement, but how I see it is that it is house of self esteem.

So if we have pluto, north node and pof in 2nd house, how i see it is that..
Due to sudden events in the past, your self-esteem became dependent on your economic status.
Pluto will continue you to push you towards transformation and rebirth (training)

So I think what will happen here is that people with pluto and north node in 2nd house will be well trained with self-dependency in terms of economic status

And then we have part of fortune here, so I think your fortune will come from fulfillment/transformation of pluto and north node
This of course depends on what sign your pluto is in, as well as aspects that it makes to other planets (For example, jupiter)

Did i even answer the right thing?

Well said

Here's something else to chew on:

quote:
Aspects to the nodal axis, both natally and by transit and progression, show the manner in which the development towards the North Node goals will be worked out. Conjunctions to the North Node induce forced growth; while those to the South Node encourage conditioned responses. Squares accentuate the conflict of interest between the nodes, and pull the individual towards the sign and house placement of the squared planet. Quincunxes to the North Node show a misperceived notion of the means to attain growth. Semisextiles bring pressure to grow, while semisquares and sesquisquares show tension in relation to growth. Sextiles bring opportunities for constructive growth, while trines bring easy growth.

I have a Scorpio NN trine 8H Pisces moon; the difficulty in "attaining" this centers on the fact that Scorpio/Pluto is a rather demanding energy. Scorpio NN brings...

quote:
A tendency to be overly self-reliant and set in our ways, to cling to our possessions (material and otherwise) and habits, to be too fearful of crisis and overly focused on security, and to attempt to achieve success through sheer will rather than listening to our sixth sense are some of the issues this position suggests. With this position, we need to loosen the grasp we have on the things and people around us and open ourselves up to our soul's need for transformation, change, and regeneration.

That's a tall order. Especially with my Pisces moon and 4H NN, the challenge is to transform without creating too much turbulence for my loved ones.
