I met someone who seems very sweet - Sag sun, Cancer moon, Scorpio Venus - but the problem is our synastry. I definitely like that our moon signs are compatible as I now feel that that would be my #1 dealbreaker in terms of pursuing a relationship with someone following a few bad experiences. But I have concerns; namely, I don't see any Saturn between us and we have sun square Uranus. Is there any hope that it would last?IP: Logged |

Take the time to count up all the synastry aspects between your charts -- including parallels and contra-parallels in declination. Count all aspects between any combo of Sun,Jupiter, Venus, Moon as positive. Count all other squares, oppositions, contra-parallels and conjunctions of Mars-Saturn as negative.Use 5 degrees for orb, 4 for sextiles. For declinations use 3/4 degree (0*45'). Add up the positives and negatives. Good synastry needs a clear majority of positives. Of course you need to know birth times to do this. Otherwise don't bother. ------------------ Professional astrology - Expert rectification http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/ Rising Sign descriptions: https://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/rising-signs-2/ IP: Logged |

I'm working on getting the birth time. We DO have sun-Pluto which I've read can bind in the place of Saturn.

Kannon, I just wanted to add that I agree with you on hard Mars-Saturn aspects as negative. Just ew. edit: NEVERMIND! I was able to find a strong Saturn connection (my moon opposite his Saturn within 2 degrees). Not sure it'd be enough to offset a Uranian double-whammy but thank Christ there is something to add some stability here! He is a reallu cool guy!
