For the Sun in Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) wouldn't the Moon sign take on a particular importance for them and easily be seen since they are deeply connected to their emotions?

Say for example a Scorpio Sun, Sag moon;

Wouldn't that make the Scorpio less of the brooding type and more optimistic and sunny in disposition due to the typical descriptions of a Sagittarius Moon and their emotions?

It's a combo.

Pisces Sun/ Leo moon here

The sun is our essence. The moon is our desires/emotions. When you get to know a water sun with a fire moon really well, you'll see the more playful/ optimistic side come out.

Also that moon might take a while if it's debilitated. For example, I know a guy with squares to his moon to neptune and jupiter who has trouble expressing his emotions. We have to overcome those things.

hm i not sure of that banshee bc i know sum one with sag sun and venus but scorpio moon and merc and dammn , he is so much more scorpio!

I have Cancer Sun, Aries Moon and my Aries Moon is more apparent then my Sun. Also I find I connect with the moon signs of others more than their Sun. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that cancer rules the moon?

I knew a Pisces/Gemini

Very emotional AND fun, playful, and talkative.
I've known TONS of other water suns btw. LOL That one just popped into in my head. They felt deeply and very powerfully. Very very much a Pisces. But a Pisces that loved to joke, laugh, communicate, have fun, and learn.

But it's BOTH. Not more one or the other or somehow "less emotional".

Blend the qualities together!

I am a Cancer Sun and Cap Moon and feel I don't really resonate with either one but pressed to choose it'd be the Cap influence. I am more in tune with energies from having my Cancer stellium in 11H and Moon in 5H and thus take on a more Aqua/Leo persona.

I have known many air suns with Scorpio moons and it's not an exaggeration saying they have been slightly "confused". In line with this, the ones *I* think have been most balanced are the people with Fire Sun and Earth Moon.

My father was a scorp sun, aries moon, sag asc. My mother pisces sun/asc, 1st house aries moon. I see both water and fire influences in them. Explosive emotions.

My father wasn't brooding at all. Very daring, reckless and optimistic. His sag venus conjunct asc in the 1st, people often saw that. They got to see the scorp traits once they knew him well, bet they didn't see it coming.
