I'd say Libra and Virgo. Libra is more about give-and-take. Virgo is about being helpful and can be more self-conscience.My mom is Virgo sun, libra mars/mercury, leo venus. She's not self-centered at all, but she can be concerned of how her loved ones make her look to other people. That's the negative I see in leo venus, at least in my mom. IP: Logged |

But I do want all the attention, ah! Guilty of charge! Anyway, from my own perspective of having venus in fifth and in Leo, I think my saturn conj. Rising from twelfth gave me a pretty harsh view of myself, that I always need to be up to some almost unattainable standard to be "alright" My moon in seventh and in libra makes me more objective, hence I am able to see my flaw objectively and reflect on them. I always try to be fair with others and myself. Sixth house Chiron in Virgo is pretty harsh, often giving me distorted thoughts about my body (opposite Saturn too), that I need to lose weight, that I am fat, etc. I also have a tendency to think I am a failure or to fall into self harm/punishment if I failed to meet some expectations I though I needed to meet (Saturn here again) IP: Logged |

What's wrong with liking yourself? Just cus you seem to got issues with this placement maybe you shouldn't harp on us so what if we love ourselves we are also generous and nice. Some ppl can't stand the glare of the sun.. IP: Logged |

Ahaha aww it's sweet. Yea I thought it can be Cancer Sun maybe, or Moon, and maybe Pisces, but I don't know. I have one friend, Virgo Sun, Venus Leo, he is all into it, loves attention and always must be first, when you don't pay attention he will ignore you. xDIP: Logged |

Who said I had some problem with this placement? I'm just talking and as I know some people with this placement, I know how some of them act and wanted to hear from others, nothing bad I wanted to say, so find some other topic, if you don't have nothing smart to say..

that makes us think you may have problem with this placement. It sounds angry and a teedsy bit condescending... Yes venus in leo are probably what one may call "drama queen" but that's one of the awful way to bring the subject :/
I can't deny I need the attention of many, but I definitely am not in love with myself, on the very contrary, I struggle very hard with my personal image and goes into lots of way to take care of myself so I can be proud of it, so it can be harsh to bring it that way.

Hey, I have Venus in Leo and this question really bothers me.So are you claiming Venus in Leo automatically makes one person egotistical attention ***** ? You are being very passive aggressive in your question. For your question, NO there isn't any "specific" placements to not make Venus in Leo an attention ***** because we are not in the first place. We hate anything cheap, trashy and vulgar. So why would we try to be one of that? Venus in Leo is actually a very generous and self-giving placement. Mother Teresa also had this placement for example. If she loved herself more than other people, do you think she could have sacrificed her life to save other people's lives? And who doesn't love themselves? If you don't, I feel bad for you to be honest. Because you should love yourself before you love others. You should cherish who you are and come to understanding of yourself and your needs.

Apparently what I said was smart because a lot of ppl agree with what I said and your trying to generalize this placement calling everyone with it attrntion ****** . Maybe your the attention ***** ? You seem to be mad at whoever had this placement for getting more attention then you  I really don't like your passive agressiveness acting like you did not say anything wrong when you did. I have Venus in Leo in 1st (with Lilith conjunct it) and self- expression is very hard for me, even my Leo ascendant doesn't help. I run from attention. When I really look at my chart, I can understand a little why I incarnated with this placement. My Sun in 12th needs a boost, so by having such strong signs on my Asc and 1st/2nd house my goal is to "love myself" and feel happy in my own body, to not feel guilty or ashamed of who I am, and the goal is to push myself out into the World, no shortcuts.
Many Leo signature people are self-conscious and sensitive people, I really don't understand why people think all Leo's are trashy and attention seekers. Leo's can feel lonely and displaced. In order for this energy to work, everyone with inner planets in Leo must use self-expression as a outlet, no getting around it. Shining the Leo light is important for the heart and the health. Leo rules the heart. Venus does very well in Leo because Leo is a generous and loving sign. Yes some say Venus does poor in a masculine sign, but Venus in Libra is also masculine and nobody is saying anything.The sign Leo is like Cecil the Lion -- strong, spirited and magnificent. Cecil was just minding his own business, but even in death he stood out. That is just like Leo energy, you can't help what attention you receive from the outside World. Yes, some Leo Venus go too far but that can be because of Sun/Mars, Sun/Jupiter etc. it really depends, the whole chart should be taken into consideration. Venus/Sun aspects which is similar to Venus Leo can be attention seeking, but more likely than not, people are automatically drawn to the bright light with no effort from the person who has these aspects.
