Intense, sarcastic and probing. People can also sometimes get exhausted after they have talked or listened to someone with a merc/pluto aspect, esp those with the hard aspects. IP: Logged |

I have 6th H Virgo Mercury square 8th H Sagittarius Pluto. In short, I can break people down with a penetrative analysis of their psyche, that is, if I've communicated with them more than once. I don't have foot in mouth syndrome, and I don't have an inclination towards harming others in any way (Saturn conjunct AC makes me conscientious with everything, including my words), but if someone intentionally provokes me and sets me off then I release the blade I keep tucked under my tongue. I really can't say how this aspect influences my communication style, because its difficult to isolate it from the other 5 or so aspects made to my Mercury. IP: Logged |

My ex had libra Pluto conjunct Mercury and he could talk forever! It was hard to get a word in with him. But being a gemini Mars trine Uranus, virgo Moon and a saggy stellium in my 3rd house....communication is wonderful to me and I loved listening to him talk. If I wanted to say something I'd just interrupt him to say....."baby I want to say something" and he'd go "oh ok" It wasn't to hard to deal with I think he knew he dominated conversations so he wasn't offended. My son has saggy Mercury conjunct Pluto....he can talk non-stop!! His Merc is on Galactic Center to...whoa that boy is a chatter box! But he's also at that age they ask a thousand questions a minute! I love my lil guy! IP: Logged |

Mercury quinc. Pluto here. Intense, penetrating but not necessarily sarcastic. Then again, my Mercury is in Taurus and Pluto is in Libra so both give it a more venusian, harmonious style.I can definitely read into other people and understand their psyche based on the way they talk or the way they say something. A friend has the trine. She talks a lot, is a bit snoopy, and private. Always seems to read my mind, too.IP: Logged |

Mercury retrograde in Leo Quintile Pluto in Scorpio (exact).I always communicate honestly with people usually with a tact and in playful mood, like I am smiling and playing with you, but I am telling you how it is and people get it, but don't get offended usually. Sometimes it feels I can read minds and I usually am always right... It can be creepy. If my buttons get pushed, I usually get sarcastic. IP: Logged |

Leo Mercury square Scorpio Pluto. My forte is analyzing. I am very direct and blunt with my words, which can sometimes create conflict. I had to learn to be considerate of other people's feelings because during my teen years I would just blurt things. However, I also think this stems from being bilingual. I tried to be blunt with my words because I didn't want to be misunderstood (but it ended up that way no matter what lol). My relatives have scolded me for being too sarcastic in the past. I do love to debate and try to provoke others because I just learn that way--not to harm anyone. I have restless mental energy (that could also come from Gemini Moon) so I try to use that up or I won't sleep. I've noticed a lot comments about maybe being able to read minds. I don't know if I can read them, but I can sure predict what people are going to say or do. However, I think that just comes from analyzing their behavior. IP: Logged |

I have Cancer Mercury sq Libra Pluto. I am probing, investigative, sarcastic and I detest lies! I am also very private and don't give anything away about myself but I'll leech myself into others heads. IP: Logged |

A lot yes but not in a creepy way. Most people would be really surpised if they knew because I don't come off that way. I have Aqua merc square Scorpio pluto. Sometimes people dont know how to respond to the things I say and am often the counselor for my friends. IP: Logged |

Mercury in aries opp pluto in libraMy verbal communication style is pretty awful. When speaking I'm very aware of my audience - histories, temperament, preferences & prejudices. Also, the way words convey so many different meanings. Usually, my Mercury talks just to buy time so I can sift and think out .. What I really think. But, especially if the others energy intimidates me, I find around the time I know what I think and how to say it ive already said something I don't really think. This is then the point, strangely, when in that pause I can seize on something insightful / have an epiphany myself. Its as if only via that temporary cover I can dig into something. (that could be Mercury inconjunct uranus and conjunct Eris) The only time I seem able to be articulate is having to take a legal stance or dealing with an organisation. Same. I have a wide trine, 6 degrees, but Pluto is in my 3rd house. My husband has the conjunction in the 3H. One day a guy rode up our driveway on his bike, and something about the way he looked set me off. Too nonchalant. My husband went out to see what he wanted. Hubby came back and told me the conversation. "He said he heard we have a lawnmower for sale" "Uh oh." "That sounded fishy right?" "YES" "Like he was planning on robbing us?" "YES" So my husband called the cops, got in his car and started following the guy, calling the police on his cell phone at intervals to alert them about what the guy was doing. One of the cops called our home phone and was not even really trying to conceal the fact that he thought my husband was nuts and a real pain in the neck. He was basically trying not to laugh outright. But I was just as adamant as my husband that this guy was worth chasing and backed him up: "Yes, we're serious, you need to send out a squad car." My husband actually watched this guy go behind a house and disappear into it for a long time. He was on the phone with the cops while it was happening. They finally showed up and apprehended the guy with a bag that he had stolen from that house, filled with jewelry and other valuables. Because of the way the crime was committed, they actually pinned several other robberies on him. He had been wanted for some time. When my husband went into the police station they practically gave him a standing ovation and people were coming out of their offices to shake his hand. And needless to say the family that was robbed thanked us profusely as well. Please don't quote, for privacy reasons I'll take this down later. IP: Logged |
