Hey all, I've always been a little bit psychic, having the occasional dream that came true, but lately the energy is overwhelming. I think this is caused by Neptune retrograding over my sun and venus (12H), and it's also trining my natal pluto. I've always been good at meditation, but lately the images I'm seeing are intense. They jump too quickly from one to the next, making me feel like too much is coming at me all at once. Also been having lots of dreams about animals, in particular the snake. Why the snake??? In one dream, it wrapped around my leg, biting me. And in another, it was just staring at me. I don't have pet snakes, don't usually think about them. It just seems weird... The full moon coming up later this month is kind of making me nervous too. It conjuncts my natal sun within a degree or 2, trines my pluto and sextiles my neptune... For those of you who deal with this all the time, how do you control it? How do you focus in on one image at a time? Also do you have any meditation rituals you perform at the full moon? Any advice is appreciated. IP: Logged |

The snake bites mean that something in your personality needs to be cleansed because its interfering with your ability to connect more to God.IP: Logged |

I'm sorry I don't have any advice. I hope others can help.I just came to say that I keep running into literal snakes. About three times in one week, a snake was lying as if dead in my usual path of walking. It looked like a line I would have to cross over. The oddest one was a snake on a little neighborhood street with no sidewalk...right in my path, in that same "line" posture. I thought it was a stick as I approached it. It wouldn't be so weird except I can't remember seeing any snakes in this particular area before. Much less dead-looking ones in my usual path, one after another. Anyone know what's up with the snakes? IP: Logged |

@ athenegoddess thank you for that. it does feel symbolic in some way...@faith interesting! I wonder if the snake is affecting everyone on a subconscious level? Maybe it's symbolizing something? IP: Logged |

Lately, I've been having interesting dreams of snakes and other animals too. It's only the snake one that I can remember(only bits and pieces). I don't really have a fear of snakes, though this dream shook me. The snake had red eyes and was completely white, it was a baby. It had coiled itself around my waist, the lower half. Neptune is currently transiting my 12th house and my natal (12th) ruler is in the 8th. I also have chiron (transit) smack on my ASC. I've been researching kundalini and all forms of healing, as snakes also connects with that. The "caduceus", that's how the one snake looked like, as it was coiling my waist. So, check and see where the house ruler is, to give you more information. Maybe it will help? From my own experience: I'm not sure if it is really possible to control the influence of the psychic transits. If you avoid the psychic imprints in your waking state, they will surely catch up with you in your dream state.IP: Logged |

So if neptune is transiting Pisces that means Pisces rules your 12th house, right? So then is your natal neptune in the 8th? Or Jupiter? Did you find out anything regarding the color of your snake? I wonder if the white has significance. Im not so much trying to escape the transits so much as I'm trying to make sense of it and get a sense of focus. The images I'm getting are flashing and too many are coming in at once. It's almost as if the spirits or energy knows Im now receptive, and its all coming at me in a rush of images, dreams, etc. My mind is having a hard time separating them, if that makes sense. edited I have checked out the color it stands for healing in some places. It's just the red eyes that threw me off. Are you noting down your dreams and other experiences? It could help. At a later time you can go through and investigate all the symbols, patterns, etc. This could also be some kind of download you are receiving? Your dream also had the snake bite you. Not all snakes are poisonous, but it had injected some saliva in you, in the dream. That can mean something too? Possibly.

@quietstorm Gotcha! I don't know why I assumed pisces. Aquarius rules my 12th as well, but both rulers are in my 9th. Hopefully you find out more about the healing aspect. And I will definitely journal more as these transits are interesting. Downloading is a good theory, especially since I don't remember feeling fear, just pain. Wonder what it is...anyway, thanks for the info! IP: Logged |

I don't know if this would be of any help (since you have both in the 9th house). Not sure how this connects with the transits, either. http://astrofix.net/2010/05/25/ruler-of-the-12th-house-in-houses/#.Vdgq8n1kHUE The theme of the snake dreams people are having and the neptune transit is quite fascinating. I hope there are others who will help share their meditations techniques IP: Logged |

Thanks for sharing that! It shed some light on things! The part about exploring through dreams defintely resonated with me. And traveling in general...I always feel more alive when I travel. IP: Logged |

bananaz,Sounds like it might be time for a different approach to meditation in which images are swept out of your thoughts. I suggest a Zen approach of counting breaths in which one counts from 1 to 9, starting over from there and continuing. This allows a visual focus on each number as you say/think it. This is best done with eyes open partly like slits in Zen tradition, and focused on a tangible spot (on a wall, ceiling, etc). I also suggest that grounding may be more important during these more intense periods than meditation. Trees are very effective grounding helpers. In my view recurrence of the snake in dreams relates to kundalini and how you handle it. The snake biting you particularly suggests that you may be releasing more kundalini than is to your benefit. Please, do not ignore this. If there are intense periods of psychic energy it can mean more kundalini than usual rising through your energy system. This would reinforce what I said about grounding. Forget trying to capture particular images or hold on to them. It sounds to me like you've got a more urgent priority at the moment, which is to calm down that kundalini rising and get better grounded. It is unhealthy to release more of its stored energy than your nervous system can handle. ------------------

@ KannonThank you for your reply. You may be right about the grounding. Now that I consider how the snake bit me on the leg, it makes more sense. I definitely will try more clearing meditations. I was just thinking I haven't been doing them as often as I used to, probably from being too caught up trying to figure out the constant messages, but I'm going to make it a priority. Thank you for your advice!
