Which placements or aspects in a chart would show us someone with emotional immaturity or might take a while to gain that type of maturity? Mainly concerning relationshipsIP: Logged |

I've seen this with a Cancer stellium or Cancer planets that have too many positive aspects, and not enough squares to counteract them. Emotional entitlement issues. Not putting all Cancer planets in the crosshairs, but truthfully that's the first place I look. I may be biased as a Capricorn, and what I call "immaturity" may be someone else's "aw, they're just being cute."

Gemini Moon - emotional big child. I've seen this. But they're also really fun to be aroundIP: Logged |

I agree with the Gemini moon. Really easy and light to be around but anything too heavy and the lack of maturity shows. Also, I knew a person with a Scorpio moon but it was in their 12th house. And it wasn't so much immaturity as it was just being unaware of where their emotions were seeping out from and not being able to grow because of that. Which was strange for a Scorpio moon to be unaware of their emotions. IP: Logged |

I'm usually mature, but transits might affect someone. And I've been affected by life in general.I probably would partially blame my Saturn in Cancer, which would then want to cry. It squares my Mercury. My Gemini Moon probably contributed to maturity. I will not see Gemini Moons thrown onto another fire. I really like mine. IP: Logged |

My scorpio moon is in the 8th. Look, I have an emotional on/off switch. I always know what I'm feeling. But I can turn emotions off and go my merry way. Some people say it's immature because they don't know any better. Interesting, the 12th house moon :-) Teasel: what house is your Gem moon, if you mind me asking? IP: Logged |

8th house, or the end of the 7th, with Equal house. I do sometimes feel emotionally immature *now*, but for years, I wasn't. Anytime I do now, it's related to strong fears, and some sort of PTSD, I guess.

Oh come on...8th is always deep despite of sign :-P My "Gem Moons" were 6th and 11th house. I love Gem Mooners since I have a Gem sun. But with a Moon in Scorpio I find it difficult to establish intimacy with Gem Moons. I feel like Gem Moons have this running impulse or something.I'm sorry you're going throughotough stuff like PTSD syntoms IP: Logged |

Look, nobody here was talking about your scorpio moon in the 8th house and how some perceive it to be immaturity. And whether or not people know anybody better. I just mentioned the person I knew with a Scorpio moon in their 12th house as not being immature, but unaware. There's a difference. My point was that most scorpio moons are some of the most aware of not only their own emotions but others too. So I found it strange that because this was in their 12th house, they were unaware of their own, let alone others. Good on you for having a switch. Clap that s*** on and off for all I care. Really? Why? It's a super "serious" house.

I don't believe this. I have Saturn in the 8th and had to grow up quite fast. A lot of responsibilities were put on me from a young age. IP: Logged |

I know 2 someone's with a cancer Moon one with a trine to scorp Mars/Merc/Sun/Uranus, add to this saggy Venus The other cancer Moon with trine to scorp Mars/Venus, add a saggy Sun/Merc/PlutoBoth have Taurus AC's, Scorp DC's.....both can be very immature and act like emotional babies! The 2nd one is much better than the first but his Scorp Mars/Venus is in his 6th house so at least he uses his ability to love and drive to accomplish things in service to others. The 1st one just thinks ppl should worship him, ESP in his relationships...his scorp placements are in his 7th house. To me, too much water means no emotional accountability because there isn't much foundation to ground them into reality and force them to see beyond their own emotions. IP: Logged |

The 8th House represses the planets inside. They can have a delayed maturity such as mars in the 8th may find his purpose late in life. Chiron in the 8th represses primal feelings. I see this a LOT. It is a hard Chiron placement, one of the hardest imo------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I think by maturity she means more life experiences like firsts (first love, first car, firsf marriage, house, etc.) not wisdom.IP: Logged |

I'm pretty sure that's it. It delayed experiences for me. But I knew ugly realities way too early in my life. So in that sense maturity came before most peopleIP: Logged |

Interesting replies I also agree with Cancers taking a while to mature. Also Geminis have this tendency, but you can't really tell since they're usually up & going in generalI was also thinking Uranus opposing planets. especially regarding relationships IP: Logged |

I've only seen this now. You have been extremely rude. I mentioned my moon because both 8th and 12th houses have secretive themes to it. I was trying to make a comparaison and contribute to knowledge in the thread. You're out of the thread theme here miss. You just answered to insult me and you demonstrate you're an emotional and intelectual cripple. I pity you sweetie. Go take some f__n' valium and do not direct yourself at me ever again. Now crawl back from the hole you came from, if you don't have enough emotional maturity to discuss with grown ups. Bye Bye! IP: Logged |

How ironic that this post is how you demonstrate your emotional maturity. Good on you. So much for the switch, huh? IP: Logged |

I think all these kinds of placements associated with more "youthful minded" - so as to drop the immature word - people might also have the upside of increasing creativity and thinking outside of the box. It all depends if we can deal with the good and bad side of it. Uranus can be quite cool if not afflicted :-)) IP: Logged |

I find that huge stellium in the 1st House can cause emotional immaturity. It is more of a self centeredness, through no fault of the person. It is a lens through which they view life.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
