I know it sounds odd to say but I have found that a lot of leaders have an active 12th house and that 12th house people can actually see things afar from a distance. It is like the 12th house makes it possible for you to not get influenced easily by others since you are reclusive and be a lot more objective.I've also read that these people are psychic and extremely good at reading others. Not sure how true that is. IP: Logged |

This is true. I've held leadership positions at work before leaving to start my own professional venture. I've a 12th house Gemini moon conjunct north node. I'm Not outwardly emotional, but empathetic, can see both sides of a situation and make snap decisions. IP: Logged |

The twelfth house is a beautiful house in my opinion full of mystery, intrigue, isolation(at times), and introspection. Which is good seeing how you relate to the world and how the world relates and relays back to you. I have a twelfth house moon and while I find myself alone at different stages of my life, it’s allowed me the ability of resilience; to look at and reflect to bounce back anew. Like both saronna and gracha said, my twelfth house placement has given me the ability to take stock on where I am mentally and emotionally and connect with the undercurrent of situations. I won’t necessarily say I’m all seeing, but my twelfth house mood has blessed with high empathy and the ability to idk know where people are at. Sus people out, and connect with that more than anything. It’s not perfect though-twelfth house can be really isolating if you allow it. I need to recharge quite a bit from things and find myself withdrawing to do that more. I can also say 12th house has allowed me to relate to people more though. IP: Logged |

I think it's perhaps the 12th house creates a window into the collective. People with an active 12th house are more in tune with that and that gives them the ability to either use that insight to help or exploit and harm. Either way they know what people want and they use that to their advantage regardless of their intentions. I am also a 12th house moon (I saw a few others here are too.) I'm full moon in gemini. I need alot of me time and am very sensitive to my environment. I can account for it helping me be very aware of the needs, wants & intentions of others. It's exhausting. I also have retro chiron in close conjunction to my Moon so there is that feeling that I need to fix or heal whatever to the point of self destruction. I have had to learn to be more selfish. I have a tendency to merge with my environment. The 12th can be a very frightening place. I have several mental illnesses and have been taken to the hospital 4 times, one of those I was sent to the mental hospital afterwards for nearly a month. I feel things very stronglt but luckily gemini makes me much more logical than emotional. But I think the logic is more specific to personal emotions. When I am stuck in a pool of my own self pity I can rationalize my way out quickly. And like someone else said, I bounce back easily. I think 12th house native tend to bounce back is because alot of what they are experiencing is what they have absorbed from things outside of themselves.
I notice that after I have "purged" (as I call it) personal pains & emotions, it creates a channel for me to absorb a collective one, if that makes any sense. ------------------ 《 《 《 I AM 》 》 》 http://imgur.com/a/LTu1xEz IP: Logged |

12th Stellium here..i agree with the statement that we know things at a glance..intuition is strong ( my Neptune is also all trines to my 12th stellium so i m sure that helps a lot, but i want to think that is also the gift of the 12th alone); being reclusive a bit, and handling alone time well( actually needing it daily to recharge) i can add more things- my husband is calling me to watch a show so i might come back and add more IP: Logged |

I think 12th or Neptune is like a bad genie. It can give you things, but in some screw up way. Sometimes you know, sometimes you’re deceived. You can get what you want, but one important thing could be terribly wrong or requires sacrifices you cannot make. I thought maybe because my Neptune is hard, but my friend with 12th house placements without hard Neptune had similar experiences. 12th is a house of hidden, deceptions and sacrifices. IP: Logged |

Hmm that's interesting, because in my observations I have learned to wonder about the intentions of the person who owns a packed 12th house, because it is like the "double agent" house in some people. It is a misty, foggy house and it is easy for things to hide there, things that do not want to be noticed and prefer to hide from us and the world. If whatever is hiding is benevolent or malevolent remains to be seen. Some things only "wake up" during certain transits. Not only that, but planets in the 12th house, especially if badly aspected, can indicate a mentally unwell person. For example, individuals who have multiple personality disorder, or psychological disorders in general, often have a packed 12th house.
For me 12th house can be a blessing or a curse but I see it as this: the body has more than one pilot.

I have Uranus in the 12th, conjunct the ascendant. Depending on the house system used, I could have Pluto there, too. IP: Logged |

If a Planet is conjunct one's Asc, it's not really in the 12th House anymore (or rather, only very slightly/subtly). Conjunction=merging, Asc among other things= start of the 1st House. The Asc is the most sensitive and amplifying area of all in a chart. Hence, Planet+conjuncting the Asc= a symbol extremely descriptive of the very energies of self i.e. extremely conscious and highlighted/amplified. Edgar Cayce had Uranus conjunct his Asc and his own Life readings mentioned things like, "Uranus at the zenith" and often talked about Edgar's predominant and powerful Uranian attunement. Zenith in this case meaning things like, "the time at which something is most powerful..." Edgar's Life readings for himself, indicated that his Expanded self had rolled together a very odd set of a group of very fast vibratory patterns with a group of slow vibratory patterns, and it was like he was in constant tug of war between these two very different influences. The 12th House on the other hand, is one of the most passive and unconscious areas of the chart. Extremely different from the Asc/1st House. In traditional astrology, because it is a cadent house, it is considered one of the weakest or least highlighting areas for Planets in general. That doesn't equate to "not important", just that it doesn't boost/amplify planets like Angularity and especially conjunctions with the Asc or Planets in the 1st. IP: Logged |

There are different ways in which houses can be accessed in the chart. Ancient Astrology was essentially predictive and, in that context, the houses that didn't make any major aspect to the 1H were not considered as supportive to the native (these houses are 6H and 8H because they're in inconjunct to the 1H, and 12H and 2H because they're in semisextile. The 12H is the joy of Saturn because the 12H rules anything that blocks and imprison us (literally or metaphorically), isolation, losses, hidden enemies of all kinds). On the other hand, if we consider the astrological wheel as a mandala of evolution, the 12H is the end of a major cyle before the beginning of a new one (1H). Then the 12H can represent anything previous to this current incarnation. In Karmic Astrology, the 12H is linked to past lives and pre-birth matters. In Evolutionary Astrology, the 12H is where we surrender, merge with the all, connect to the divine. I have a 12H Mars Retrograde, OOB in Gemini. In Classical Astrology, Mars is the most malefic planet for me. In terms of events it's true: the most troublesome issues in my life have the nature of Mars. Mars rules my 10H (Aries) and 5H (Scorpio): I faced a good amount of hidden enemies in my professional life (people who would gossip and try to smear campaign me to destroy my career) but my mother (10H) was by far the worst hidden enemy of my life: besides the abusive things she'd to my face, she'd do horrible smear campaigns about me, behind my back to destroy my reputation (and probably still does but I cut ties with her years ago).
Looking at my chart as an evolutionary mandala, I have past life issues related to Mars. It's possible that I misused the energy of Mars (in my case it was overuse for sure because I don't have assertiveness issues. It's also possible that the energy directed towards me during pregnancy was hostile (which it was, I was an unplanned and unwanted child). More often than not, I don't relate to 12H Mars descriptions. I do not suppress anger, I have no problems asserting myself, I trust my instincts and I'm confident enough to do things my own way (often, I have out of the box ways of doing things, a feature that relates to Retrograde and OOB planets). The only consistent trouble I have had with Mars in the 12H is insomnia. Mars being in an Air sign and the 12H ruler Mercury being in Air sign too (Aquarius) in a tight square to Uranus. IP: Logged |

That’s interesting about pilots. I heard Jupiter could do it also. I could be differentI. I don’t think I have different pilots. I attributed it to Uranus and Jupiter. I think it’s more how I represent myself to the world and how people see me. A level of my energy. People just want to put a definition on you. If a range of your personality is bigger than their shallow perception, they get upset and afraid of you. IP: Logged |

Truer words have never been spoken. People sometimes allow their perceptions, triggers, and insecurities of THIER world and themselves dictate the overall human experience. So much so to the point that they do get upset when people they meet don’t fit inside their comfort box. Even worse when you have the wherewithal to establish boundaries, or even distance yourself from such limited thinking. Then they’re like “how dare you?!”. It’s the weirdest thing. IP: Logged |

Spot on from my experience. Mars in the 7H conjunct NN. Mars rules my 12H. I recently had a very intense relationship with a guy who had Pluto in the 12H natally with Pluto also ruling his 12H. Synastry wise, my Scorpio stellium was packed in his 12H. I initially thought the gift was him and our relationship. The relationship was very cozy though but isolated from the public eye a lot of the time and i don't think either one of us really cared.
3 years later? I discovered NPD and my whole world changed. He was the key to a lot of missing puzzle pieces related to my childhood and issues with my father and eventually men.. So I gained some very valuable life lessons but my heart was shattered in the process. I was going through the infamous Pluto square Moon transit during that time too. I'll never be the same but I'm still thankful.. still haven't fully adjusted to this new "feeling" either..

Ruling planet Mercury in the 12th house. I can pick up on vibes of others sometimes!Like a guy at work I immediately got spooky goth vibes from him, and I live in my dead mom's house vibes. Before I got to know him better. And yes he is an old school goth and he inherited his late mothers house. At my first preschool job a teacher once said I get creep vibes from him. I said I get " a name of a town that has a blue collar, Kentucky, moving on up from the trailer park reputation" vibes. The teacher then told me he is from that town! I once picked up on really bad energy from a girl. This is before I knew anything about her. Basically a hot girl who is unstable AF, puts all her worth into how hot she is and nothing else, and has tantrums and harasses people. She use to string along my now husband. My husband was done with her and was going after me at this party. She was with her boyfriend at the time. I have hung out with her boyfriend in group settings. I also got vibes that she lowkey saw me as a potential threat. When I introduced my self, I was friendly AF too. LOL Black hole spiral aura. I have Venus Pisces My Mercury sextiles my Venus trines Uranus and Neptune squares N. node and S. Node IP: Logged |

I have a 12th house moon in Pisces, conjunct a 12th house Saturn and my ascendant, and a 12th house mars and Venus. I am definitely a loner, and I have been in the hospital once. Before I reached my mid 20's I was a mess. I had no concept of who I was, nor did I know how to go about the world. I definitely feel like there were past life issues I was dealing with, and I'm sure there are still some in my present. I was horribly dissociated because of trauma growing up, and closed off. Now though, I can handle responsibilities, I've been structuring my life with exercise and work as well as indulging in my creative side. I definitely feel certain ways about people, I don't know if they're necessarily correct 100% of the time though. Sometimes they are. I think the biggest gift I have is being able to change myself, I can stop habits if they aren't helping me grow. I decided to stop smoking one day and never looked back. I also enjoy changing my clothing style and learning new things. I have been able to pick up on spiritual entities and I can sometimes pick up on another's energy and intuit random facts about them. But they have to be open to it as well. I still perfer time to myself, but now I know how to make small talk to sooth someone's nerves, and am more willing to show my emotions to strangers. I have few friends but the one I have is solid, I want to make more one day but I'm unwilling to fall into a friendship with someone who isn't genuine.
