Basically, this map transposes your natal chart geographically. When you travel to a certain location where there is a line drawn from the planet, you will feel the energy of the planet there.

I've heard many people having a very positive time in places which cross the Venus or Jupiter axis. Lots of fun, many opportunities, things seem to come to them with ease.

On the other hand, when people have traveled to where there Pluto is transposed, they have a nightmarish experience- in the words of one friend, "like they've gone to the Underworld."

Before people move, they often take a look at these astro-maps in order to determine whether their relocation will help them or not.

200 miles and preferably to the west.

Long before I knew of astrocartography I long
for Western China/Tibet. My Venus D line runs
through nice places in Florida I have been then on the other side of the world right thru Chengdu,China and my Jupiter direction line runs right thru LASA. Also Neptune descendant line crosses Jupiter line in Lasa so I do dream there on occassion of some transits.
I once travelled from Austin to Phonenix on a Solar Return Mercury line unwittingly.
Astrocartography is very valid in my experience
