Really?

The man who chased me years ago has taurus moon. I liked him but he stopped chasing me after my ex bf called him to stop being around me. Since then he acts on-off around me, sends mix signal, and I have little patient to figure out what he wants. So, I don't pay too much attention to him anymore. One thing I know he is very materialistic, loves showing what he has like luxurious things, supported by his leo sun/mars, but he really knows how to keep it down to earth also. lol.

Another male friend of mine likes to invite me hanging out, he once told me he likes to hangout with me because he can laugh, we share some trips together also, probably his venus in scorpio too serious and need some fun. (I forgot his mars)

But I have not met women who have taurus moon, oh wait, my youngest sister probably has it (my mom won't tell me her time of birth), so she can have either last degree of aries moon (like me) or early degree of taurus moon. I love her since she was born, she is more collected and calm and slow than me, probably it's her taurus mars. lol. not sure.

Idk, why? do you dislike taurus moon?

I don't dislike taurus moon. I find earth moons ok in general, they're compatible with my earth stellium. Plus I have taurus mars, so...

But yeah, I imagine the slow pace would work against romantic development. I like things to happen fast and "sweep me off my feet".

I have Capricorn Venus. I like to take things slow. And the Taurus moon knows to do just that. They are patient with me too, so that's helpful.

my aries moon conjuncts my bestfriends taurus moon, she keeps me calm and steady and i make her let loose and be a little crazy.

she is like my rock, always very stable and dont really let her emotions fly (shes aqua sun tho, and im leo sun).

but she can be a little too stable for me sometimes and i know i can freak her out when im have my tantrums. And sometimes her lack of spontaneity annoys me. dont really dislike taurus moon, but maybe thats cus it falls in my 4th house.

I suppose the only problem I have with Taurus Moon is its inclination towards materialism. I don't mind the "lack of spontaneity", because they (along with Capricorn Moons) tend to be the most stable people and I can appreciate that.

Thanks guys! I thought this thread was dead.

...So what would you guys say are the needs of Aries moon. Taurus is possessive, security focused, and yes comfort and things soothe us. What do you guys find emotionally satisfying?

What else?

Well, my mom is an Aries moon and one of my beloved mentors has an Aries moon.. both of them are on completely different levels of maturity, but I'd say I gel well with them as an air moon.

- They're both rapid thinkers - they want you to be on a similar pace. They can get impatient - in a good natured sort of way.
- They're both extremely athletic and I think they perceive exercise as the ultimate bonding experience
- They are an extremely multifaceted people. For example, my mom is a beauty queen that loves Metallica and weight lifts but it also a hardcore Christian. My mentor was the captain of the football team at his high school but you wouldn't know it talking to him - deeply brilliant, soft-spoken person that doesn't seem like he jives with hypermasculine culture. They honestly expect the same from you -- they don't like "one-note" things. They love rapidly peeling off the layers of something, all the more delightful if they keep pulling off the layers at a rapid pace and the onion isn't even close to disintegrating yet.
- They're very outgoing, very chatty. Super extroverts, receive energy from socializing and do not deplete the way an introvert would when in a high paced environment too long. I imagine they'd like a partner that is also the ~star of the show~ in a sense
- They're both competitive perfectionists. But they're good natured about it. When you can step to 'em and rise to the occasion with a challenge, watch their eyes light up and sparkle like nothing else
- For some reason, they LOVE being called out on their sh*t - I guess they're so charming they get away with a lot in life lol

I love Aries Suns/Moons. My moon is sextile their Aries plus my Venus is in Aries so I just find all of this stuff delightful (edit: I should also mention I'm a Taurus Sun/Mercury so we definitely have our points of contention every now and then)

Erm... let's see....

I don't like when someone rains on my parade. I get excited just like how a child would, so while I don't expect others to go along (because sometimes it's totally nuts), they don't have to cut my excitement short either. Feels like getting cold water poured over my head. This is true for both of my parents, who also have aries moon.

I like people who feed my curiosity. Who let me try new things even though I'm more of a hindrance than help. Think about the time when you were little and absolutely hell-bent on nagging your parents to let you have a go at painting the window, I'm exactly like that.

Yeah, I agree with what Vaja said about not fussing over aries moon. For me there is an ongoing self-challenge, so when I feel down/when I fall down, I like to try getting back on my own. That's my ultimate glory and I savor it greatly.

Also yeah, no emotionally manipulation. On one hand, my earth placements are more cynical and can play along with that game, but deep down my moon feels disappointed. When I truly have feelings for someone, I trust and like them with child-like innocence. So when one tramples on it by trying to manipulate me, things will never be the same.

So no teary guilt trips on the menu.

Libra is the opposite sign. So I appreciate calm, diplomatic and slightly sly people who are like wizards with words. I don't necessarily agree with them all the time, but I like that they can stay calm and rational in situations that send me bonkers. I have a temper and can be aggressive so I like someone to hold me back. There was one time when our a-hole neighbour who haboured a strange hatred for cats threatened to twist my cat's neck so I screamed at him to come at me. My s.o somehow managed to talk it out. He said that I struck fear into that a-hole's heart with my display of manic anger so he became more subdued and receptive to reasons. LOL idk if it was true, but I liked the sound of it.

There was one time he broke up the fight and got out unscathed when my parents and I got into a shouting rage. Lol the funny thing is that at first it was parents vs me, later they shouted at each other too. It was nuts.

So yeah, I like people who are like him very much.

Nod nod.

Speaking of thrill, I like it. I like the rush of adrenaline. So surprise trips, rock climbing, bungee jum, jet ski..etc... are great. Although I get bored quickly after a few times, so yeah I constantly look for the next great thing.

Bruh.

So true.

Especially the part about people taking forever to get words out.

They make me bleed internally. They make me see my life flashing before my eyes.

In my mind there would be a vision of me dying of old age, rats picking my bones clean, my bones turning into dust and still not getting to hear what they want to say.

Just coz I can. And getting things done meaning I have more time for other things. Very often before I get things done, my eyes and mind will set on other ideas already.

So many things I want to try. So little time lol.

Aries Moon showed Up on a Tuesday

(pardon my taste in music... but did have that thought when I saw your wonderful and very helpful replies)

awww c'mon theunknown. You know it's 'bout a man. That's the only reason I take interest in anything.

There really is a childlike quality to this moon- the good and the bad. I want to cuddle and then spank this moon. But that's what's obvious.

House overlays have brought me this moon a couple of times (I can't imagine why else this quintessential cool guy would be attracted to me. Nothing cool going here. All craziness and oddities). The childlike quality and the inspired energy are right there in your face for your enjoyment... but there's something more behind the eyes- every single time I've seen this "something" working behind the eyes. Just like you can see the watery dream in the eyes of Pisces, and the warmth in Cancer's eyes, you can see the fire burning behind those Aries eyes.

I have an Aries Sun girlfriend that as children caused me to doubt there was any depth to Aries. Really ignorant of me. I know. Life and age has taught me the error of my ways... but I do think it's the Moon in Aries that shows off the complexity and depth of this sign. That is probably true for all Moons.

athenaia this was great. I was like "Yeah!" while reading so much of this.

This Aries Moon just laughs and takes control when I can't keep up. He thinks I'm cute, and I'm working my Puss in Boots eyes just as much as I can. Aries are actually quite patient. I mean, if you’re not doing things fast enough or what they consider to be the right way, they don’t yell or anything. You just need to step aside and they’ll be fine.

Yes! This Aries Moon (and another) is a beast. This one is 16 years older than I am and has the best body of all the men I have ever been with. I have a membership at my foofy women's gym, but I also weight train with him at his gym. I love it because he knows what he's doing. Our workouts are so efficient and fun. I feel like a puppy getting treats when he gives me props for doing more reps or lifting more weight. I can tell he is truly pleased.

This is so true. You can’t make any assumptions about this moon. This moon seems to enjoy all kinds of surprises (and even quirks) and is full of surprises.

This is interesting. The Aries Moon I am thinking of seems shy when we go out and lets me do most of the talking (not a problem for my Leo Asc). He does however really seem to enjoy observing the interactions, and seems to love that I bring him into conversations and jokes, but there’s no pressure for him to do more than laugh and observe. Probably something to do with his Pisces Sun... I would think his Sag Asc would make him more outgoing, but I was married to a Sag Asc., and they seem to be more interested in going on adventures than socializing, not that they aren’t social. Anyway..

They are really a lot of fun! Thanks athenaia. I enjoyed reading this and appreciate the time you took to share.

Vajra, it's so nice to hear from you. I really do appreciate your input. Especially this..

I had a chance to read your reply a while ago (I waited until I could sit down at my pc to reply back). Since reading what you wrote my Aries Moon caught a cold. I thought I'd put your advice to the test. My normal Cancerian reaction to my loved ones when they're sick is to nurture them (maybe nurture isn't the correct word- lol). Anyway, Aries Moon is sniffling and coughing, so I go over to him and I say, in a baby voice aww, my poor baby. You're sick. Let's go upstairs and I'll tuck you in. He kinda cringes, but before he has a chance to respond I jumped back, punch him hard in the arm and yell, c'mon soldier! Get up! What would you have done in the South American jungle?! Let's go do a lap around the house!. Then I calmly take another step back and ask, Now, which do you like better? Lol. He gives me the bewildered freaked out laugh I get so often from him, and says, the first one. LOL.

But to be serious, we did have a misunderstanding about the whole, ‘he’s sick’ thing, later in the week. I knew he was sick, and it really annoyed me that he still went to the gym, and mowed his lawn to chop up the leaves, and other unnecessary things. He carried on with this nonsense for a week, so when he coughed, I got used to ignoring it. Finally after about 6 days we planned to watch a late night movie. Well he had really had it. He was leaning over the sink all out of breath and his eyes were red…but I had gotten used to ignoring his illness so when he wanted to go to bed instead of watch a movie with me, I was livid. Lol. I called my friend and she helped me get a grip. I had to realize that he won’t stop until he can’t go anymore, and I also had to admit that when I can’t control a situation, I change the story entirely.

quote:
They will pick themselves up just like that. But if you express all those comforting sentiments most people like to hear in such a situation it could make them recoil from you. They like to imagine they're warriors at heart, immortals like the ancient Greek heroes or the Norse gods, defenders or avengers, knights in shining armor and all such stuff; and feeling sorry for them reminds them they're mere mortals which is rather sobering.
Lol. Yes.

quote:

Me: Hey, it's been a long time. How's life right now?
Him: I broke my thigh and feel like **** .
Me: Geez. How on earth did you manage to break your ******* thigh?!
Him: Well...after the soccer game last weekend which we won I felt so elated that I just had to climb the nearest tree to dangle headover from a branch...and then the **** ing branch broke right when I was dangling from it!
Me: (laughing hysterically) Oh dear god, what an epic fail! That must have been quite a sight! Too bad I wasn't there. I mean...sorry I'm laughing so hard right now...that must have been really painful and all that, but... wow. The mental image of you dropping from that tree like an overripe apple is just too much....!
Him: (giggling) So glad you can appreciate what I did. My wife just scolded me all day long, I'm so sick of hearing it...and of course it's painful, and bothersome, and I even had to have surgery and all that. OMG, wouldn't you think I should have grown up by now? Hahaha! It's sooo good to talk to you...

I just had to quote this conversation it was so funny. Your friend and I could be pals. I climb trees! I would have had to laugh at his story too.

---
And thanks for this explanation below. It’s a very clear look into the heart of Aries Moon. I already recognize everything you’ve written as true.

quote:
Well, in my case and in those Aries Mooners I know, it's definitely not praise. It's cuz you can. Other people's opinions of us really don't matter all that much in terms of evaluating our performance (unlike e.g. with Leo Mooners who typically thrive on praise) even though Aries Moon has this naive idea of wanting to be "liked" by other people (which doesn't happen because they alienate so many people with their competetiveness, their temper, and their rashness) and often has a hard time learning that this is not possible. As for praise...often when I'm done with something, even if it was a huge effort, I'm much too busy starting the next thing to really collect the praise, and I might even feel uncomfortable when being given praise; sometimes I already forgot what it was that I did that was so praiseworthy. Aries Moon is just very, very speedy and quickly moves on to the next thing (or, the next thrill, as it may be). The high momentum simply has to go somewhere. This is meant both physically and mentally btw. Having an Aries Mooner around with nothing to do, nothing to focus on is not at all a good idea, they could turn destructive and basically implode. They should always have a project on which to focus their energy, then, they will be very single-minded and carry it through. This is because they really like to be "the best". Not necessarily in the sense of comparing themselves to other people all the time (as in, "I want to be better than x or y"), rather in the sense of "I want to be able to compete with the best of the best, or be among the very best". But they will draw inspiration from others who are good at what they're doing rather than feeling threatened by them, competition is a good thing for them, nothing to be afraid of.

Again, thank you Vajra! I’ve seen a lot of what you’ve written in my Aries Moon. It was nice to get an explanation of the drive and mind behind these things.

LOL @ "Come at me"

I just keep saying it my head to my pretend enemies!

I know Aries aren't known for diplomacy. I don't know.... That's what I read. However, I find the Moon in this sign really seems to appreciate refinement and civility. I've noticed they wince at my crude speech, and threats to wreak havoc in the neighborhood...You guys seem really straightforward and honest, but also like peace. Taurus Moon really is a bull compared to Aries Moon, I think.

Oh, another thing you said, "They make me bleed internally"

I can't wait to tell someone they've done something to make me "bleed internally". LOL. you're just tickling my gut.

Well, as an Aries moon, I'd say this. You should look at the Aries moon as in a child and a warrior all in one.

We appreciate competition, not fight. So we are quite unlike Taurus moon. Taurus moon and Scorpio moon can work really well with Aries moon because it needs to feel flyyyy, need to have space, needs to do random **** than no one does but doesn't need to hear your complaints or criticism. No thanks! It knows it is so awesome! And both Taurus and Scorpio are ok with that because Aries moons are usually not ones to cheat, unless terribly affected by other parts of the charts. Why would an Aries moon wants to cheat if it wants to feel like it is the ultimate best.

Basically, because our brains work way too fast, we get bored easily. So if you keep us on our toes and throw a curve ball here and there, we appreciate it. Just between us please. We are not down for drama or being forced to compete. No, an Aries moon would drop a cheater like no tomorrow. We are the best. We don't have to prove it. This also means we don't take people's bull-butter.

There is a typical description that aries moons are so impatient and start so many projects they dont finish things. Yet we are on top of many professions, not just the ones like police force and firefighter or fast-paced stuff. Why is that?

This is the side that I dont think most Youtubers touch on. We are very critical of ourselves. We think of ourselves as soldiers, and the strong ones will swallow the pain, take it the rough way because we can, unlike the weak ones. (Or so we think, which is why we rub cancer moon the wrong way). But basically the onion metaphor above is very true. We want a real challenge, that even though we attack all we can, we are forced by the challenge itself to sit down and strategize and write things down ... Ha! If you can make an aries moon do that, you got us hooked.

Aries moons are dynamic but that doesnt mean they dont appreciate things that go slow. Because the wait does make the results better at times.

If you read quotes from aries mooners, they usually talk about living in the moments and not have regrets. Why? Because we feel we are underestimated (we think of ourselves as this big grand thing, you see). We feel criticized and we feel regrets. And then we pick ourselves up and say, "I wouldnt have done it any other way." The whole quote sections about regrets by aries moon is because we have a sensitive side that doesnt understand how we got bruised and got hurt (see similarities to scorp moon here).

Aries moon eventually becomes very controlled. An Aries moon wants to be in control of their life. You are absolutely right about being out of our way, lol. We don't take it kindly that someone chooses to put us in a box, stand in our way, tell us what to do, how to think, how to live ... An aries moon would GLARE at you: "You know who I AM???!?"

A matured aries moon will go to the end of the world to show you what bravery looks like for this reason alone. I dont think people give us enough credits for our moony force.

Hahaha, I mean anger really drives us. We will fight you to death to prove that you were confused about who you were dealing with.

Sometimes we say things to poke people because we are just so bored, but also sorta similar to Scorp moon, to know how rough you are. Aries energy likes it rough. Their arts are not refined by the details like virgo. Their paintings use wild art strokes, their photography captures imperfection. So in daily interaction, they are ok with how imperfect you are. Really. Cause children are imperfect, we live and learn. Just keep going on might be a better strategy. This also means we try new things all the times. Unlike fixed signs, we dont always stick with the same things/trade/career until we become the definition of mastery. We just want to show we can do it, and hence have the potential to master it, if we have time. (I have a fixed chart so I do stick with similar things longer than most aries moon)

But but but ... we hate it when someone is not a good sport with our probing. Aries moon detects it as a lack of confidence (more reasons why Cancer moons dont like us).So we either let you go or make you real mad. Hence a taurus moon is a good match because a Taurus moon can just dismiss Aries moon whimsical attempts. Also, Taureans are very confident. They think everyone is jealous lol.

Overall, unless you have a really watery/earth chart, practically most people get along with us more than they like to think.

Also, your story about your man being sick. That was me! When I was sick and so was my roommate, I told myself I AM NOT GONNA BE SICK AGAIN and went to the gym and work out. Since, I havent been sick or if I start to feel sick, I just double up working out. Feeling weak is not something Aries moon likes.
